Aguri relying on Honda for survival?

Aguri relying on Honda for survival?

The cash-strapped Super Aguri F1 team could be going cap in hand to engine partner Honda in a last-ditch attempt to secure its place on the Formula One grid this season.

Honda's support for Super Aguri will ultimately depend on results I feel. Should Honda be out performed on the track by Super Aguri this season, as they were in parts last term, expect the hand that feeds to be withdrawn as fast as you can say Suzuki.

I do not expect Honda to be miles better than last year but I do unfortunately expect Super Aguri to really struggle despite the talent they have in the ****pit.

Lets hope they can secure support without pimping themselves to the highest bidding pay driver as that is not what F1 is about.

I hope they make it onto the grid. They made great strides last year and I think Davidson was really starting to get on top of racing. Can see what you mean about Honda though - it was a bit embarassing for them, but they shouldn't take it out on Aguri. It's not Aguri's fault Honda ballsed up!

I do really hope Super Aguri will be on the grid this season, they have done a superb result as a small team this year, even better than HONDA :_) I myself still prefer Anthony and Takuma Sato on board... Keep on fighting !!

Super Aguri will never be up there whilst they ponce old Honda's that were not fast in the first place.
When they are in the position to build and develop their own stuff then they might fight nearer the front.
The Toyota engine has been regarded as one of the best for a while and it looks like williams has finally developed a fast car too put the engine in.
Red Ball with Ferrari power, maybe Aguri should follow, instead of having a slow car and engine from Honda.

aguri aint just having problems in f1. they have the same problems in indycars and now have lost their matsura entry, so honda are not happy about that. it's now time for super aguri to look for major sponsors from japan. i would recommend a telephone company like samsung, who are rich and would love a sponsorship oppurtunity with a japanese team in f1 and indycars, otherwise super aguri will cease to exist

I feel sorry for Davidson, this guy needs a break. Perhaps if they pensioned off Coultard, Ant could replace him.
