I also remember last year in Japan where they mysteriously had to bring Massa in to make way for KR with only a few laps left. Go figure...

It is clear that whomever from whatever team can pit the latest mostly always has the advantage.... And because KR avoided a crash in the first corner an ex-engineer sees clear evidence of teamorders etc etc???

No one wondered how Kimi past Massa to win in France.It was all OK.And at the time Massa had more points than Kimi.
From time to time somebody thinks to have something inteligent to say.
Massa will have good races from now, but he never has o chance in front of Kimi.

This is TEAM racing. Sacrifices are part & parcel of the game of winning the "bigger picture". Tour de France is even more extreme with a whole sqad of riders wasting themselves away for Lance Armstrong, every single day of the 3 odd weeks of racing. The end-result, however, is well worth it.

Fair enough... BUT, team orders are supposed be against the rules, no? At least until it's critical for championship success. I seem to remember a lot of moaning last year at McLaren favoring Hamilton over Alonso (apparently) and the FIA going as far to put someone in the garage to ensure equality. Can't have one rule for one team and a different one for the other...

He forgot to account for the fact that Massa is an utter piece of crap of a race driver.

F1 the pinnacle? What a joke. I don't see team orders in MotoGP, DTM, BTCC, IRL, Nascar, V8's etc etc etc until it's critical for championship success.

I can understand one drivers not pushing their team mates after a certain point in the race. But for the race result to be decided BEFORE the race starts at the 2nd race of the season? **** that, I've got better things to do than watch the WWF of motorsport.

agree with alan. further, any team will try to gain the biggest advantage from finishing positions. this has happened since before formula 1 was started. ask fangio, moss and many others of that era. drivers had to hand over their cars to allow a leader score max points.

what a load of crap, i like both massa and raikkonen, but lets face it, massa doesnt have what raikkonen has.. and raikkonen did all the hard work himself on the in and out laps where massa lost a lot of time, so in my eyes it was all fair

It has been stated, by Ferrari, that they give both drivers and equal chance until the stage where one cannot win and the effort gets put behind the one who can win the WDC. If what this guy thinks is true, is true, then Ferrari are gulity of saying one thing (very loudly), and doing another (very quietly). It's called being two-faced. Something that most Ferrari fanboys have accused McLaren of being with regards to LH and FA.

Bizarre comments and no accounting for Kimi's speed relative to Felipe's. It's a stupid statement to make this early in the season and to imply that team orders are already underway in Ferrari. My thinking, he's been out of the spot light too long and needed to make a controversial statement that cannot be refuted or substantiated in order to get back in the light of F1.

yeah FooAtari, but they chose to stay and live with it rather than seek something somewhere else. It's their decision and all decisions have their consequences. Being a Ferrari driver may be great, but only if you're gonna be the "number one" driver. For the number two driver, team orders will always apply, even if it is only implied.

In any case, it's the opinion of one guy, and it may or may not be true.

As always someone (or shall i say a "no-one") has to start some worthless crap like this and many of you would get suckered into another conspiracy... and no its not because Kimi set the fastest time when Massa pitted... no... and didnt Masa lead over Kimi most of last year? What next, they sabotged Massa's car so it kills gear boxes, make the car spin...? Massa got the raw speed but not the consistancy as Kimi...

There is a difference between team orders and a teams stragey. As I have said before unless team mates can pit at the same time one will always have a more competitive strategy. If the goal is to have true equality between team mates they need to change the rules so both can pit at the same time.

Besides this is a team sport.
