Ex-world champ insists: Mosley must resign.

Ex-world champ insists: Mosley must resign.

Jody Scheckter has called for a media campaign to force Max Mosley to step down from his post as FIA President, following the allegations published in a tabloid newspaper about him partaking in a ‘Nazi-style' sado-masochistic orgy with five prostitutes in an underground ‘torture chamber' in Chelsea last week.

Jody Scheckter should stop sticking his nose back into F1 and go back to his wild boar farming in Kent, Mosley is a sly one though, I just hope he and Ron Dennis are both out of F1 by the end of the season.

whatever the rights and wrongs of MM's actions, it is not right that a witch hunt should be initiated. JS calling for a media campaign is a bit off. has MM's dalliances and delictations directly affected his role in FIA, apart from the credibility issue. if he feels that his position in FIA has ben compromised, then he should resign, but otherwise, give him the opportunity to sort out his family life. at the end of the day, he has done nothing illegal.

After everything that has gone on recently, and with the admittion of a love/favouritism for Ferrari, he should have gone ANYWAY.

For someone in his position, and the connection his father had with Hitler something he really shouldn't have done.

I don't see how he can carry on in his position, it really is time now for him to stand down and someone that can act impartially take over.

There is an article in the FIA book of rules which says it will sanction anyone who bring the sport in to disrepute. Is this not the case?

The fact that Mr Mosley wants to be whipped by a hooker while naked and attached is just plain ridiculous but the decision to stay or to resign would then be his own one.

But his staged "punishment" involved nazi re-enactment and, therefore, it goes far beyond sexual fantasy. There is no way the Jewish people can tolerate this. Mosley is doomed now. There is no way out of this mess, as long as it was actually him on the video, which seems undisputed...

I don't know who is behind the filming and making public this video, but he or she got him ! Should Mosley actually sue someone, the outcome of the case will certainly be interesting... But I do doubt so.

What the bloke does for his jollies as long as it is safe and consensual is nobody's business. All he is guilty of is being dumb enough to get caught engaged in some 'fruity' role-play. This prudish - he's bringing " the sport in to disrepute" - nonsense is wearisome and worrying. Is he to be convicted for the sins of his father? Or is this a Mary Whitehouse style attack on his personal liberties?

This is the 21st century not the 1950's... give over... give it a rest!!!!

P.s - I'd love to see the back of him and his Ferrari biased ways, but not by abusing his civil liberties. That is a crime far worse.

Oh big bloody deal. It was hardly a "Nazi orgy" he just had his ass whipped by some hookers. In fairness, the news of the world could never be accused of being a sensible publication at the best of times. The video is online somewhere, it's not half as bad as the NOTW claim.

don't give me this - "his staged "punishment" involved nazi re-enactment and, therefore, it goes far beyond sexual fantasy" - rubbish if I dressed as an English Knight and did the same, would the Welsh, Scots, French and Muslim community have the right to go up in arms? Or what about if I dressed like a Viking. Grow up

Tom NBK, a strange comment from you in that you are allowed to make a response to this situation and yet a former World Champion is not! Why ever not? I do not think you have thought through the stupidity of that!!

Rory, get real ! How would you feel if you were Jewish or a member of the Mercedes or BMW boards? It has nothing to do with civil liberties it is to do with the position of authority he holds and he has brought it to a position of ridicule on a number of occasions. This is the latest and probably worst of his gaffes and he must pay by resigning!
