Mosley says 'sorry' with letter to FIA.

Sort Comments:

Mosley says 'sorry' with letter to FIA.

‘From information provided to me by an impeccable high-level source close to the UK police and security services, I understand that over the last two weeks or so, a covert investigation of my private life and background has been undertaken by a group specialising in such things, for reasons and clients as yet unknown. I have had similar but less well-sourced information from France.

Mosley said "sorry"? I read the letter over a few times. He's not sorry He's only sorry that he got caught.

Jeez, how many threads do we need on this subject.

The guy is guilty and got caught. Fair cop. He should do the decent thing and resign, but he won't. I doubt the FIA board have the guts to push him out, so he'll end up staying and taking out his retribution on those he thinks were behind it. He probably thinks RD is as payback for 2007.

The publications by the News of the World are a wholly unwarranted invasion of my privacy, and I intend to issue legal proceedings against the newspaper in the UK and other jurisdictions.
Do you think this means if he has no joy in an english court he might try an Italian court. There must be some favours owed to him there surely.

I cant believe this guy, at this age he should be helping charity or the needy in the Africa (or something like that) considering his position in the FIA if he has some nothing else to do apart from F1..--> which is another screwed up story anyways..Plus he says that he is getting sympathy from all over the place..I wonder who these people are ..it must surely be those 5 girls.

I hope the press gang up on this idiot and rip him to shreds... The arrogant twerp deserves to be exposed (since he courts publicity in the papers when it suits himself), and he reckons he can bully the papers when it exposes his stink.

Come on Max lets see what you got then...

How sick are the people at the FIA who are supporting the fool!

As per yesterdy, Finlands Foreign minister had to resign as he sent inappopriate texts to an exotic dancer yet twisted Mad Max reckons he's been hard done by.

He has to go go go and soon!

I had to agree a little with comments made about a witch hunt etc being out of order, however after reading this transcript what a Knob!!!
As powerline says, 'not sorry, but sorry for being caught' Just read the section about his family at the end. He doesnt even make a public apology to them but blames the media for bringing them into this mess. Surely HE is the one who brought them into this mess.
Go Go Go Go Go Go Go and good riddance you muppet Mosley.

moseley has brought my name into disrepute and should go. dont let him make more money from F1,to spend on call girls. i wonder how may others are involved in this sort of behaviour. what if a world champion got caught, would there be cries of resign from the self righteous?
can crash.net not stop acting like the news of the world, and instead give us formula 1 news to get worked up about?

xrace, there's screwing up and there's SCREWING UP. His comments of recent times have been screwing up, but this is SCREWING UP. If you put yourself forward as squeeky clean and full of integrity, then you have to do the honourable thing when you're found out. Live by the sword, die by the sword. You have to take it in the same way you dish it out.

xrace, I think the point being made here is that it's MM thats being self righteous when he bangs on about teams/people bringing the sport into disrepute and then promptly does it hisself. If playing a nazi with hookers is his bag then fine but he's been caught out, can't bring himself to apologise and admit that it is he that is in error and not the papers for catching him ( NOT the pathetic letter he's sent out )..You live by the sword etc. etc. If his pastimes (if caught !! ) involve events that bring the sport into disrepute surely it would have been in his best interest to not jump on the bandwagon and slate others for disreputable comments/behaviour

The man has made a laughing stock of himself, has humiliated his family, and as its President has put the FIA in disrepute.
If one removes honour and respect from a person what has he got left?

Private life is private only until it is made public, and if one is a public figure than his deeds become the domain and interest of everybody.

Just immagine the FIA president giving out a disciplinary ruling to anyone and everybody bursts out laughing because Max has brought out the whip!!!!

The quicker he goes the better for everyone.

I have to say, I admire the resilience of a guy like MM.
Caught with his trousers down combined with a strange Nazi play, he still manages to spin it and poses straight away as if he had already haff got away with it.
I thought T Blair & A Darling were the best at that exercise but I think they have been beaten fair and square by MM.
Amazing

Bye Bye Maxie bye bye son, I dare you to go to the next G.P. and do a grid walk, I can;t think who'd want to hold your hand.

Big fine, and ousted please FIA, now is a time some guts/teeth are required, or else you all face ridicule the next time you try and exercise your judgements on some trivial racing incident.

What about the Law Society being updated, surely they should be made aware, isn't Mosley supposed to be a barrister.

Firstly, anyone who doesn't realise that MM is a politician, in a politicians role, is missing the real purpose of his day job. Following on from this, as with all politicians, its not what you do so much as how you face up to it. Its not wierdness, kinks or eccentricities that do for politicians, its dark secrets bubbling to the surface, because this goes straight to the heart of their honesty and becuase dark secrets lead to blackmail.

I've wanted MM to go and a new era to start at the FIA for a long time; things happening this way isn't what I hoped for. A big fight with News International (not a quick or easy win) will further damage the FIA. Time to go quietly.
