FIA president Max Mosley has called an Extraordinary General Assembly meeting in order to discuss the publicity generated following the revelations about his private life.
It looks like Max is going to tell the FIA members that he is the boss and they will do as they are told. Max seems to be leading the FIA the way he see fit and his history indicates they will just sit there and let him run the show. I wonder if they will stand and click their heels as he leaves the room.

Time to step down Max, you have made a fool of yourself over the last 12 months commenting on teams and drivers, your latest gaff really reflects badly on F1, not to mention the insult to numerous people.

He should have done what Ron does when he feels frisky; get out the Lewis inflateable doll and squeek away.

Can see it now... "Please don't sack me...I'll be a good Presi now or you can all whip me!". :P
The General Assembly of the FIA is its supreme organ and is represented by the President of each Club and National Authority that are members. These consist of some 222 member organisations from about 125 countries.
If these 222 representatives give Mosley a vote of confidence and vote him back in, in the General Assembly meeting, motorsport will lose its dignity for ever.
Public leaders who are always in the spotlight do not have a private life unless locked in inside their homes. If caught out in a scandalous situation, and the evidence against them is undeniable, their position becomes untenable and they have to take the only way out of a bad situation - Resign.
As a member of the UK Caravan Club I will be demanding that the Caravan Club representative at the FIA who I believe to be Region 1 vice president demands that Max get the order of the Jack Boot

Any person who is in the spotlight, especially being involved in any sporting team their actions are scrutinised more than anybody else. Max Mosley knows this and the only reason he is going to the board is so that he can plead that this be ignored in his case. The guys an outright idiot and has been damaging the sport for the last few years and its about time a new leader stepped into his place and began a fresh start for the FIA. The ironic part will be when a Ferrari employee aka JT steps into the role and proves that Ferrai really do run the show! Now that will be a sad day.

It's interesting that Ferrari and Renault are the two teams that have not joined the other manufacturers in condemning Herr Mosley. Wonder why - perhaps because of a certain cozy relationship with Ferrari and Flav wanting to spare his buddy some hot water?

Max has been preaching about cost-cutting in F1. Here's more cost-cutting measures - spending $1 million dollars for a EGM when he should have resigned & leave quietly & with at least some dignity.

Andy. You might care to note if you ever attend races that most drivers or bike racers use caravans and motorhomes and that the UK Caravan Club offers a very fine travel and insurance service for both. Many of us who work in mototsport and also race including Bernie have motorhomes or caravans as do many race fans whe travel to GP's, LeMans and many race circuits in Europe, America, Australia and other countries. Caravanners/Motorhomers unite and call for Max to be booted out

As he's a public figure he doesn't have the same expectation of privacy that most people do. This has been demonstrated time and again in the courts. It's not really that hard to understand. Time for this despicable man to go.
Bogaaa - It must be hard being so bitter and twisted... spending your entire life in the shadow of a more successful, richer, more cultured and generally better country must be very hard on you.
It must be embarrassing being propped up by a nation you claim to hate so much. Frankly, I think most people in England would be more than happy to get rid of you... but then you'd all start emigrating to England once you realised that your country doesn't actually make any of its own money, and we don't want that.

Wriggle, Max, wriggle! Every F1 fan I've spoken to in the last 72 hours has been delighted to see the arrogant, self-important fool get his come-uppance.

ADAC (German association member of the FIA assembly) has written to MM and essentially disowned him and told him he should resign. The snowball grows as it rolls. FIA have promised the general assembly in Paris 'as soon as is practicably possible' which probably means October (ha). Frankly, by the time the meet a fair proportion of the more senior member associations will have made their voting intentions mightily clear, and the meting itself may prove to be a formality. MM has lost his iron grip on the broader FIA. I reckon he'll be gone by end of May.
