Button: We are in good shape.

Britain's Jenson Button is expecting to Honda to be competitive at the Spanish Grand Prix this coming weekend, the fourth round in the 2008 F1 World Championship.

jenson, lets hope that this is not more of your usual hot air. we could do with another team to compete with the midfield runners.

I'll believe it when I see it. Since Honda's Jerez test right before the Australian race, Honda has been saying that they are improving, the car looks good, etc. yet Honda has scored NO POINTS. Sure the car might be improving every race, but much of the competition is also improving every race. Honda has not made any statements regarding relative improvement. Toyota this year for example has talked a lot about relative improvement compared to the other teams, and they've posted good results to back up their talk. Can Honda do the same?

I don't expect Honda to finish in the points in Spain. Renault has a better chance than Honda.

Jensen you got a great paying job and so long as you are better than the car you keep blagging to stay put, easy life... just blame the car... I just wish you dont just sit comfy in your high paying seat and get the drive you should be in and get racing.... else you are just going to fade away... especially when the car is up to it and you are too old or too rich to care.

hmmm, yes well ok.... At some future time they may get to where they were in 2006....it should not be to difficult to improve. Honda should set themselves a points target for this year: if you are not getting points you are going nowhere. They should also acquire the AGURI team to improve their chances/position (using a dual strategy within the same budget. It is in the interest of F1, FIA and HONDA to try to save the AGURI team). Why put all your eggs into one basket that is not delivering? Both Honda drivers should also make an attempt to avoid silly incidents and mistakes that nulifies the teams 'hard' work. It is no good if the car improves but the drivers don't.
