Resigned Alonso plays down Ferrari talk.

Resigned Alonso plays down Ferrari talk.

Fernando Alonso had little to say when questioned in Spain about recent comments attributed to Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo regarding a possible move to the Scuderia next season.

Reality strikes. Maybe he'll stop trying to talk himself into a Ferrari drive and concentrate on Renault.

I agree with you there Calvin.
I do hope Fernando does make Renault good again.
Only way i could see Fernando going to ferrari, thats if Kimi ever leaves Ferrari.
If only all the cars on grid were equal, then all this hype will not be going on.

Hey chu chu, I do hope Alonso either gets Renault up to speed and challenge Ferrari, McLaren and the BMW's.
If not Well i do hope he will go to Ferrari, Because being a racing fan end of the day i would like to watch good racing, that keeps you on the edge of the seat.
Fernando is worthy and proven world champion and it would be a shame if he did not get another title or two, yet i would like to see Lewis win the title one day, but he has to mature as a racer first and learn that he is not the only person on the track who can win the title.
The more competition for the number one plate the better it would be for us fans!

yes ferret, it s just funny that people seem "scared" of the prospect that FA goes to ferrari ... i guess if he was your average driver people wouldnt be that nervous.

As for the Spanish Grand prix the top six is locked by the top 3 teams, the max Renault can expect is best of the rest. if Renault can achieve this, then they have made real progress. can' wait for it...

Good commemnt there chu chu.
Ferrari have Kimi who is very good, but if Kimi ever left or quit the sport, who else better than FA to replace him, unless he gets in the team while kimi is there.
If it was not for the trouble that happend to FA when he was at McLaren then i reckon he would have got into Ferrari with no problem.
But its not FA fault that McLaren behind closed doors favoured his team mate instead, and that gave FA a bad name he did not deserve, and he had every right to complain.
That is maybe why Ferrari are not looking to change their driver line up yet?

This could be an interesting situation really. If FA really wants to go to Ferrari, I wonder how Carlos Ghosn will react to it. He strikes me as a sort of person who isn't phased by Alonso and will do what is best for Renault, rather than rely on ifs and buts. Given Piquet seems to be locked into a contract and several other drivers are coming up on Renault's books (Grosjean), I wonder if it'll leave Alonso stuck between the two teams. Suppose 2 world champs speak pretty loudly, but its not like he has made a tremendous impact since his return - maybe Ghson will think he is expendable for the greater good of the brand... Who knows

chu, i dont think that anyone is "scared " of alonso going to ferrari. Ferrari have said over and over again that they dont want him yet a lot of people cannot accept that. he would need to show a lot more fighting spirit before he would be considered by them. also dont forget his involvement in spygate. they would never be able to trust him. there seems to be strong rumours about him defecting to RBR. this might be a safer bet for him, after all if Webber can pedal the car reasonably well on occasions then alonso could only do better. he is probably better off at renault for another year, to see how he handles being in a second string car.

Lulu – in principle you are not a virgin any more so the rookie ad would not apply to you unless you will able to find a surgeon to patch it up. Also, you had you had your way with me last year so what else do you want lulu? Please don't hump me no more because in Spain they start whispering to me "el maricón" .

LuLu my finger was pointing to D.C. as a telltale sign that maybe he, as a well-brought-up fellow from Scotland, might be able to accommodate your somewhat eccentric desires since I don't want you to make a habit of claiming my back too often. As far as Maricon that would be equivalent to your British expression – poo pirate.

Really Pablo – do you really reflect that much! My granny used to say - it takes one to know one. That said - should I send you an invite to chu chu's train room? I'm sure the harebrained schoolboy will salivate to show you his toys.
