Well done to Ferrari who once again have shown that hard work and technical excellence seemed to have kept them one step ahead of the opposition. And I am delighted that BMW seems to be closing the gap step by step with a car that at the pre season tests appeared to be really off the pace.

Great job, but Alonso was definitely light on fuel. Alonso himself even said that he'll be happy if he finishes the race in the top 6. Qualifying in P2 for Alonso was nothing more than a show he put on for Spanish fans.

Alonso is second on the grid fair and square. His choice of strategy is his own. Taking into consideration the perfomance of the Renault at the beginning of this year, it's remarkable that even running on fumes he is in 2nd place. Either way, we'll know what the actual story is tomorrow.

Kimi did well to be be on pole and I am expecting him to win tomorrow. Kubica is the one to watch though; great driver, doesn't blow his own horn and seems like a really nice guy. Regardless, hope it's a good race.

I'm obviously a moron Chu Chu as your intellect is so obviously far in excess of my own. The fact that someone makes an insulting comment towards me personally in a language I cannot understand is acceptable to you and I am apparently not allowed a response? With hindsight Pepe my comment which generalised all Spaniards was unfair so I apologise unreservedly to the vast majority of Spanish people that I know to be fair minded and right thinking people.
