Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Nelson Piquet – never a stranger to controversy during his grand prix career that spanned from 1978 to 1991 – has said he is ‘upset' with Max Mosley over the recent sex scandal allegations, but only because the embattled FIA President did not invite anyone else along to the party.
hardly surprising that ferrari would not sign a joint team statement against Max Mosley when he makes the f1 rules to the benefit of ferrari and the Fiat mafia.

I'm not surprised that Ferrari and Toro Rosso refused to sign the joint letter, but I am surprised at Williams - from the report I read Williams refused to sign because of a seperate earlier dispute with Ecclestone, who stormed out of the meeting. He had promised that Mosley would go if all ten F1 Teams signed a joint statement - seven did, but sadly three don't have the best interests of F1 at heart.
If I was Mosley I would consider 7 out of 10 a pretty damning idictment of my behaviour, however he is still in denial.
Mosleys latest stunt is to place the prostitue who spoke out under 24 hour surveillance by a team of detectives led by Lord Stevens the ex Met Police Chief!

You can call Nelson Piquet whatever you want but he sure is not hypocritical as most now-a-days... Wish they were more of him in F1 and around the World... Say what's on your mind...

FrankG I couldn't agree with you more. I wish everyone was so straight talking, call a spade a spade that's what I say. I can't abide this hypocritical double speak that some drivers and officials spew out as soon as microphone is thrust under their nose.

Well, it looks like he'll not get Spain's vote in June.
They both have something in common. They won't be in F1 next year. What a crappy ride today for Nelson..crappy year also.. He is terrible. He should keep his mind on racing instead of joining Mosley in a pile.

robert, it was his father who made the comments... Nelson Piquet NOT Nelson Piquet Jnr. But your right he wont be in F1 next year because he retired many years ago!

oh yes back in the day old nelson was a playboy, but the thought of him along side mm in the buff with their wrinkles on full display makes me cringe...morals of sewer rats...but old nelson has still got a twinkle in his eye...mm is just a dirty old git.lol...
It is hard to imagine a much more stupid comment than this one. Piquet never impressed as being too bright an individual but he has now gone beyond the pail.

Piquet once dubbed Senna gay and said Mansell had an ugly wife! I find his comment about Max amusing, but his out spoken comments in the past have lead to fall outs. Soon as Piquet dubbed Senna gay, Senna went out dating many nice women, and Mansell called Piquet a vile man. What goes around comes around!
I wonder if his comments about being invited to mm's "party" will embarace young nelson,i bet he's gutted that his father would say something like that...back in the day i was a bit of a fan of nelson, but i think his big mouth became a problem back then, and he should keep it shut now.....dont worry nelson jnr.loads of us suffer the embarassing parent syndrome...in fact i am one of those embarassing parents lol....
Might not have been too bright (in your opinion) Dr FW Knox but he is a 3 times world champ and doing very well indeed... what about you? It's what I said..at least his not another hypocritical politically correct eannabe idiot like most poeple are presently... This Mosely thing is rubbish and you all are buying off it.... Get a life/...

well FrankG just because he was world champ 3 times (and he deserved it he was a great driver)and he's doing alright, does'nt mean we have to agree with the things he says...we are all entitled to our opinions...and my opinion is that your opinion is shyte...and i'm sure the good dr knox is doing just fine...and if this mosley thing is rubbish why is there an extrordinary meeting of the fia being called where the sad git might get the boot...its an important situation that could change f1 and you dismiss it as rubbish, are you real or what?
If MM ever risk going back to the scene of a Grand Prix, he will THEN realize that it's impossible for him to get back the support he once had from F1 carmakers and key deciders. Everyone is most likely to run away from him, not wanting to be seen in the same picture frame with a sex pervert. Run Forest, run...!
Maybe Max needs a little more of za punishment on June 3rd in Paris at the Extraordinary General Assembly.
