Sutil not under threat, says boss.

Force India F1 boss Vijay Mallya has earmarked Adrian Sutil for a long-term involvement with the team, despite a frustrating start to the 2008 Formula One season that threatens to derail the German's reputation.

I feel that is probably the one seat in F1 at the mo that is getting wasted.

Klien has proven him self to be a very good racer when team mates to DC in 06. his great qualifying at Brazil in his final race springs to mind.

and there are others who could do a job, paffet or de la rosa are better. as many have pointed out Kartakayian (sp?) would be good for them tho he was just as wild sutil.

yeah i dont find any difference between narain karthikeyan nd sutil's performances...but i would rate karthikeyan as a better driver because he is more complete now..he has done a great job in a1 gp for team india...he has made a1 team india no more a backmarker team..and morover sutil's a1 gp performance is worser than karthikeyan's((comparing first six races of both as sutil has driven in 6 races in a1gp.)) although a1 team germany is better than a1 team india..

Sutil should be starting to show improvment by now but crashing into other drivers with obvious driving errors and lack of control and concentration has nothing to do with luck. The car is realiable and he should be used to driving at the back of the pack but to me he is getting worse not better so far with force india. He was a better driver at spyker and I really find it hard to believe that McLaren and Williams were even considering him. Mallay should really consider Karthakeyan or even Chandahook as a replacement even before this season ends if there is no improvement. There's already to many Germans on the grid anyway. Spice it up Force India!
