Honda dismiss 'unlikely' Aguri rescue talks.

Honda dismiss 'unlikely' Aguri rescue talks.

Despite Aguri Suzuki revealing yesterday that his embattled Formula 1 team is in further discussions to safeguard its increasingly precarious-looking future within the sport, parent company Honda has suggested any talk of the squad's survival being assured is somewhat premature.

So Super Aguri has cost Honda $100m for just over 2 years of operation - must make Sato one of the most expensive pay drivers in history! It was great to see him overtake a McLaren (Alonso) around the outside in Montreal last year, but I can't imagine it was worth that much.

The Nick Fry Honda conspiracy theory might well be true. Honda want SA gone so they wont be embarassed by their little brother on the grid and then it wont matter how bad Honda are then. Nothing to be compared too therefore Nicks job is safer.

Nick's just being mean and bitter here.

Hmm, and what was that? "We've been looking for partner for years"? Oh, I thought you said the earthdreams project had nothing to do with Honda not being able to find sponsors?

Fry is nowhere on this...the guy has had more lives than anyone else in F1, and it not a nice person. Unfortunately for him, he's also crap at his job, and now that Ross Brawn is really in charge (and making the difference), expectation is that Fry will rise and fall on his commercial department's success with the Sponsorship Nightmare/Earth Dreams concept...the clock is ticking loudly, albeit it appears not to have bothered him too much for the last three years.

Mr. Fry's primary interest is Mr. Fry. It's well known within HRF1 that Mr. Fry 'googles' his own name. He loves publicity. Did you read that he was in London with Prince Charles on Monday 'earth dreaming' together

He was the only team rep. to speak out against Mosley in front of the cameras - but lives in a world of double standards: he left his mobile 'phone at home by mistake, went to work, only to have his wife find a text message from his girfriend inside, she called him at Brackley and told him to be home in two hours (he lived in Suffolk and commuted daily to Brackley) to collect his belongings...none of that made the NotW headlines, but it may highlight his ethics and focus
