Moss: I hope Mosley stays on.

Moss: I hope Mosley stays on.

Under-fire FIA president Max Mosley should be allowed to at least see out his term, that's the view of Sir Stirling Moss.

1st we had Mad max and now we had Mad Moss. Mosely is a disgrace to the world of motorsport and has to take part of the blame for SAF1 not getting funding.
Moss is a disgrace to motorsport for not calling for Mosely to resign of for him to be sacked.
May be Moss is just another old man losing his grip on reality the same as Mosely!

i dont know what it is about stirling moss but he annoys me so much and his comments always seem stupid and out of touch with reality and modern times. yet everyone goes to him, the news, various motor racing shows on TV and websites. and yet i dont think ive actually read a comment by him where i thought to myself: well done good thing to say. he just annoys me hes quoted so much.

im sure many of you will disagree with me, but he just bugs me. im not denying he was good in his day, he was, its just his persona and outlook on modern day motor racing. just my two cents. sorry

They say business is about bull**** so maybe if Stirling Moss and others - Damon Hill, Jackie Stewart, etc - came out in support of Mosely (great friend of Bernie) then maybe the problems British Motorsport faces - such as Silverstone - would be easier dealt with.

I know it's wrong but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I always liked sterling...but this old boys club mentality is what's going to stop f1 moving forward,MM is a disgrace and i thought the likes of sm and jt would distance themselves from him...the only reason i can think why they are supporting him is there must be something in it for them, especialy jt as it looks as though he's in line for mm's job...i dont know why sm is buddying up to mm though,i for one think less of him for his support for this silly dirty old man...eff off MM......

probably not moss's fault. the reporters WENT to him and asked a question about mosley. moss gave his personal opinion but was not aiming to dictate to others. more fool crash.net and people who respond to the thread for believing that what moss thinks would be relevant. the matter will sort itself out one way or another over the coming months. if mosley stays, he stays, if he goes, he goes

"I was amazed to see what he was doing. But then people do that." So people pretend to be German prison guards beating women prisoners, do they? People generally do not do that unless they are perverts like Mosley. Beating women is deeply offensive and it is clearly damaging for the image of F1 for a person who likes to beat women to be in charge of protecting the image of F1. People's privacy should be respected but the reality is that this has come out because Mosley had the appalling judgment not to realise that if a married man in a high position cavorts with 5 prostitutes they expose themselves to blackmail or the story being sold. Mosley should resign to clear his foul stench from F1.

hamiltron, sometimes i agree with you, but you have moss's age wrong this time. i think that he is in his eighties. further why the reference to WHITE MEN? is this relevant? i am curious.

It's just kind of a pretty common saying that the world is run by white men in their sixties (i.e. born in the 40's) - that's what makes it so difficult for younger people, women and non-caucasians to get to a position of power because this gentlemen's club like to protect their interests. There might be a minor revolution going on there though with the US election and stuff. Not sure how relevant to the topic this is, I just thought it was somewhat funny and un-surprising that the people who rush to MM's aid are mainly other white, older males. I'll admit I had no idea exactly how old Moss is but I guess he kinda fits into that category.

hamiltron, maybe they are just wiser and more tolerant. something that comes with maturity. maybe in 50-60 years time lulu will be making the same type of observation and will be castigated because of his "wisdom"

Debs I thought the women were beating him, not the other way round? Which makes it slightly better - only slightly admittedly.

Zorric, Mosley being beaten was in fact his foreplay before he himself dressed up as a German guard and beat the women "prisoners". Quite laughable and pervy, which is why the man can no longer be taken seriously and why his judgment stinks as prostitutes do what they do for money and would have known that a tabloid might like this story.

i think sir stirlings comments stink of the gentleman club syndrome. where they all close ranks to help each other out.f1 is a joke and has lost all respect from masses of fans.mosley should have resigned straight away, but they all closed ranks to protect him.forget the spin, and stop taking the fans for a ride.mosley should goooooooo!!!!!!!!

debs have a look at the NoyW pictures. Mosley is NOT dressed as a German guard, he's wearing an ordinary shirt and trousers. And debs, I've got to ask this - are you so virulently against women being beaten in a consensual scenario because you secretly long to be spanked yourself? If so, it's nothing to be ashamed of and I'm sure Max or one of the ladies involved would oblige.

Mosely's Dad was a Nazi - do you supporters of Mosely honestly think this hasn't had an effect on his mind as a child?

60 years later he just 'happens' to be caught getting sexually abused by prostitutes.

Torture or inflicting pain is abuse - irrelevent of 'consent' and could never be accepted as part of a sane mind.

Anyone who denies Mosely isn't into S&M (A mental illness until 1974), is in denial themselves.

Mosely is a victim himself of abuse, (as are all people into extreme S&M).

After all one doesn't just wake up oneday and think, I know what - I'll torture someone and as it's legal.

There is a process to being abused and abusing others.

Max knows
