Kimi should be relieved that Monaco is a one-off, no other track like it for the rest of the season. But as a consolation, he did have the biggest yacht among the F1 drivers to party on. I wonder if he still has that Gorilla suit. LOL!
As someone who has "Kimi Rules" graffiti painted on both his cars,I never imagined I'd actually be feeling disgusted watching Kimi race at Monaco.
However, after having read all the post-race articles, watched the replays and listened to Kimi's media explanations,I now understand that the race was never Kimi's right from the start!
I was upset that... 1) He was so slow off the start, later came to know a technical glitch was the cause. 2) His laps were slower, later understood that the team's tyre selection for kimi was wrong. 3) He crashed into Sutil, ater verified that it was the slight bump that caught out his car.
If luck's on his side, then we can alrdy look at Kimi as champion

Its probably best to have all the bad lucks bundled into one race than spread across the whole season... lol..

Lewis in this race had a lucky accident when he brushed the wall. The team loaded him with fuel when he entered the pit so that he would re-pit much later than Ferrari. When he did the rain had stopped and he swithched to dry tyres, gaining him a lead over Massa of 39 seconds. Ferrari had a disastrious race strategy and the incident with Kimi before the start was absolutely not up to the normal high standards of this team. Also Massa's tyre strategy was also a gross failure in judgement which cost Ferrari the race. Nothwithstanding this, although I am not a Lewis fan, one has to say that Lewis drove a fantastic race and deserved the win. Kimi in my opinion is not always there.

I am very confindent that Mclaren have turned it around, they had the pace in Turkey and were quicker in Monaco, no matter what would have happened in that race it was always going to be a win for Lewis. The next to races I believe he has a great chance to win! Ferrari should be very worried

just to correct you lex. Lewis opened up a 39/40sec lead on his second stint whilst still on wets. too many people keep harping on with regards to his strategy giving him the victory. the strategy only gave mclaren a broader window to choose options but this still left lewis to carry a very heavy car in those extreme conditions with the lap times on a par with ferrari's and RK that were always running lighter for the vast majority of the race. also if i remember rightly, LH was the last of the front runners to switch to dry's. which ever way you look at his performance, it stacks up as a true masterclass.

I'm inclined to regard Montreal as 'Monaco Lite'. Lots of the street circuits lumps and bumps, and a real possibility of weather too. Kimi may be a little too optimistic. Ferrari's raw pace on Saturday at Monaco do suggest they could be a threat, but to be honest, for a while now their weakness has been strategy, and this has been camouflaged because Mclaren haven't been much better either - but Turkey and Monaco suggest this mental block has been shaken.
I'm looking forward to how Kubica tackles Montreal, given last years drama.

When Kimi says he is going to "bounce back", which way does he mean it?

Whilst accepting that these things happen and that it was a racing incident, Raikkonen could dip into his personal piggybank and at least pay Force India the value of a fourth place finish. That would be a more effective apology, particularly as his mistake could likely cost Force India $7 million in lost travel revenue if they remain in 10th in the championship (as reported today on GrandPrix.com)

Mark Rose - Are you serious?
What next - FA should cough up $100m to show Ron he didn't mean any harm with his emails? Perhaps Red Bull should give everyone on the grid a few quid to compensate for DC driving around all season ! (love you really, DC)
One thing is for sure - Kimi needs a good race in Canada, even if he doesn't win.

If thing stay the way they are, the F1 team will get very surprised when the got to Montreal. I live some 20 minutes from Mtl, and the weather around here is to say the least horrible, rain 1 day out of two for almost all the last month. And temperature far below season normal, we are supposed to be around the 22 degree marks at this time, well today we have, let's wait... 11!!!!! Thing in my country tend to turn very quickly though, but my personal forecast is that it will be a much colder than ordinary week-end, and good chance for rain if the season stay like it is.
Whisperingwind.................. what a load of rubbish. AAhhh, there was a bump in the road, the tyres weren't right,it was a faulty start. My god, anymore excuses for a supposed world champion? Let me get him some tissues the big girls blouse. What were his excuses regarding to his awful drive in Melbourne? How many times did he go off the road at melbourne,or was it a bit too bumpy for him? Last year before the French GP,all you ferrari botty boys wanted raikkonen sacked for being so bad,now you're making excuses for him. A bump in the road my ****,hehehe

There's an interesting point here about KRs ability to deal with uneven roads. Melbourned is a park track, Monaco a street track, Montreal (why do they all begin with M?) back in a park. If Montreal goes badly for him, I don't expect good things from Singapore.

No real Kimi fan would want to blindly support him. After all,one becomes his fan only after having been impressed with his immense talent and performance.
Mistakes at Melbourne were indeed uncalled for..not stupid but a high dose of overconfidence maybe. But that,in no way, overshadows his brillaint antics in other races or the "bump-factor"!!.I still maintain Kimi's Monaco outing was more dictated by his misfortune than by the contrary claimed by you.
Lets accept it.If not for badluck,Kimi wud have been WC atleast 2 more tmes('03,'05).His motivation seems to have dipped(maybe now that he alrdy is WC),however Monaco,Im sure, will turn out to be a blessing in disguise!
