I think that Bernie has sunk the knife in at a crucial time. He was clearly keeping his powder dry till just before the vote. For that reason above any other I think that Max will go.

The credibility of the FIA is on trial today, as Mosley has already lost his own credibility by the dishonourable way he has clung onto office and blamed everyone but himself for his reckless behaviour. No reputable organisation would keep as their head person an outed pervert, regardless of whether that person has had his privacy breached, as he could no longer be taken seriously and important people would be uncomfortable associating with him, as has been exactly the case with Mosley. The FIA will look idiotic and like Mosley's puppets if they support him today. However, nasty dictators rarely do step down voluntarily but usually have to be removed by force.

i can not believe he has won this vote....think there could well be some serious noises about a break away F1 series that comes to light in the coming weeks as a result of this...

The FIA has lost the confidence of the fans of motorsport today. Will he still be welcome, even though he won the vote?

SkyNews interviewed the Belgian delegate after the vote and even though he voted against MM, he said that he expected the result because "that's how things work in the FIA". He said that MM's personal life is personal, but that once it became public, he expected the "Englishman" to step down and apologise. Which he didn't. He also said that some of the countries who voted against MM would get together (over lunch) to see what can be done between now and the end of MM's current term.

MM?, I thought Marco Melandri rode for Ducati, no wonder his doing no good must be knackered from switching from the excitement of Motogp to the tedium of F1
