Raikkonen hits out at 'stupid' Hamilton.

Raikkonen hits out at 'stupid' Hamilton.

Kimi Raikkonen has insisted he does not feel angry at the incident that so unceremoniously removed him from the Canadian Grand Prix, even if he admitted that Lewis Hamilton running into the back of him in the pit-lane had been ‘a bit stupid'.

the headline writers at crash.net really will stoop to low levals to grab attention. the first line of the damn article makes that headline look 'stupid'.

lulu - I knew Kimi would not call you "stupid". Too much class... Another attention grabbing headline from Crash. Digressing a bit, what hotel are you staying at in France? I'm asking because I'm afraid my Ferrari might get hit by your own manager who seems to have the same tendencies like you .

I have attended the race in Montreal and sat across from pit lane. It is a straightline. If you see 2 cars ahead that are STOPPED, then why would you think you did not have to stop yourself????? Never mind taking the time to look at the lights. Is it green..go, is it red..stop. Perhaps if you think you can walk on water then perhaps you think you can drive through stopped vehicles.

Would the trolls who keep constantly hating on hamilton please grow up?

And Crash, you really need to start making true headlines and stop misquoting.

yes matt, tell the truth about hammy and you're a basher....lol, he ran into a car on pitlane, under a safety car period, at low speeds with red lights flashing....

red and racerdog live their whole lives in the spotlight at the top of their profession and never make a mistake, right?

if driving an F1 car is so easy, why aren't you giving it a go guys? I mean, maybe you are "really stupid" if "stupid" Lewis is doing so well at this point in his career.

a driver with awesome pure talent who sometimes makes dumb mistakes while leading handily - does this remind you of Ayrton yet? I recall a time when he was not universally loved as he was post-mortem.

well geno I worked as a paramedic here in the USA for over 10 years, on a lifeline helicopter. have also worked as a crew member on Indy car teams, so while not in the spotlight I worked under huge pressures and didn't make mistakes like hammy does. Look at the facts, he hit a car in pitlane under a safety car period with HUGE red lights flashing. yes, it was yet another stupid mistake by Hammy, let me guess Geno that you're one of those people who defend Danica "no talent" Patrick no matter hwat she does...get over it, hammy screwed the pooch plan and simple, it's not bashing it's stating FACT. So tell me geno, what have you done in life, since you tried to knock me rather than state facts

found it exceptionally funny..it was a total rush of blood to his head, he was miles infront and then suddenly he's bunched up with a safety car infront, pits and low and behold Kubica and Kimi jump him in the pits..can see why he was rushing to get back on track...thing is why didnt he see them slowing down or coming to a stop or see the red light???? out of the 3 cases he surely should have seen one of them???

Loved Kimi pointing out where the red light was!!!!

This forum has become, like so many others, full of unpleasant rants against certain drivers and, equally offensive, full of the most deplorable English - Jonathan's posting is of particular note. If you can't write English please go onto a site that uses your first language.

As far as Hamilton goes, it was a mistake made under huge pressure. He is young and will learn from it, just as all the other drivers do. He is not perfect, nor is Kimi or Alonso. The penalty seems harsh, but that's what happens in a sport where the boss of the FIA likes harsh penalties.

Error of judgement - yes, driver screw up - a little, but not as much as the Team who should have advised LH of the light, and had already lost him the lead with a poor pit stop and an unlucky strategy - needing him to pit at same time as safety car was on track. Shows how light he was in qualifying though, as KR had several more laps available, but pitted early. So if you like, Ferrari made biggest mistake bringing KR in early, when pit exit was still closed........?

Which ever way you see it, very unfair to hand LH & NR a 10 slot grid penalty for France, when Kimi got no penalty for hitting Sutil in Monaco......?

More red car favouritism me thinks!?

At Monaco, Kimi loses control of his "car" (due to track conditions) that careened him into Sutil...Promptly walks up to Sutil after race and apologizes profusely.

At Montreal, LH loses control of his "Senses" and slams into Kimi (barely missing Kubica).....doesnt even care to offer a personal apology to Kimi for a mistake even a third rated rookie could not commit.
(A formality-sake apology in media does NOT count)

Now, you decide who is the real sportsman that deserves the WC !!!

I know F1 races are won or lost in the pits,
but Hamilton has put a new perspective on that!

THIS IS KIMI'S SPEACH.

"There's not much I can say," was Raikkonen's reaction. "My race was ruined by Hamilton's mistake. Obviously, anyone can make mistakes, as I did two weeks ago in Monaco, but it's one thing to make a mistake at two hundred (miles) per hour but another to hit a car stopped at a red light. I am not angry because that doesn't achieve anything and does not change my result! I am unhappy, because I had a great chance of winning."

Where did he call Hamilton stupid. Crash .net just want ti call Hamilton stupid just like some of you Guys

I totally agree with racerdog45. Some fanboys out here (like Geno) just can't defend the insanely idiotic things that Loser Hamilchoke does that's why they resort to personal attacks on other posters.

Face it, most of the contributors in this forum will never even come close to having a shot at driving a real F1 car so that defeats the challenge of "having a go at it". I'd say that it is a very idiotic challenge. Besides, it doesn't take an F1 driver to see how stupid and idiotic Hamilchoke's mistakes are.

Can't also understand how Ayrton Senna's great name got dragged into this. He's a legend with 4 wdcs... lewis has none so never compare them!

Rus the Bus,

Dennis has confirmed that the team ADVISED LH OF THE RED LIGHT.

He SHOULD have seen the light.
He SHOULD have seen TWO large-as-life F1 cars stopped at the end of the lane.
He SHOULD have listened when his team told him the light was red.
and...
He SHOULD have offered a genuine apology the way KR did to Sutil in Monaco.

But I guess if you call it the way it is on this board, you get accused of being a hater.
