Max Mosley has been accused of bringing the disrepute into which he has fallen entirely upon himself, with his activities being described as having a ‘potential criminal flavour' – as the court case in which he is suing the News of the World for defamation and breach of privacy continued today (Wednesday).
. If Mad Max wanted spanking that desperately, All those wronged by him and his whims on the F1 grid would have been more that happy to oblige him, Not to mention Motorsports fans around the globe. The Man has some nerves to drag his dirty linen over and over again in Public, rather than retiring in anonymity.
Looks likes the roots of his whims on random rule changes and messing with motorsports and participants lie in these kinky inclinations

Maybe seeing these stories in print gets him off - makes him feel like a naughty boy...

yes,the video is criminal...i mean who wants to see mm in wrinkly birthday suit ? thats criminal in itself...and he thinks the newspaper caused the upset in his family not himself...what a nutter...eff off max you make me sick....
Who is the NotW to decide peoples morals for them?
What that man does in his private life is between him and other consenting adults. You shouldn't impose your own morals on others. Whether you're a fan of Mosley or not (personally I don't care) there is absolutely no reason for the story.
Paying for sex with these women did not effect his ability to do his job. What goes on behind closed doors is of no concern to the public or to F1 fans either. Only when he screws up his job should you really care.
If someone took a dislike to your moral standards and 'outed' you how would you feel? The story was an invasion of privacy and bore no relevence on his ability to do his job.

i would not like to go into a meeting with someone knowing they get stripped and bent over the back of a chair and whipped by hookers and i could not even imagine shaking his hand.

Barry - I agree with you on that. Having said that, I would also find it difficult dealing with someone who refers to people as "spics" (see Barry's comment on the Kovi tyre story).
whatever he does in private is his business ... and his wife s too. but i dont think he should be chraged for paying for sex if there was consent. he s a lying cheating c.nt, but not a criminal.
Whether it was private or not(I pretty sure his wife wouldn't agree) it isn't now, surely it is embarrassing that half the sport are laughing and the other half are disgusted, no matter what people say in public, he can't have any credibility in the sport.....some people just don't know when it's over...

Perhaps you are too young to know this fact, Get Off Your Moral High H, but it is common knowledge that everything you do _does_ eventually come to light.
How about doing stuff you are proud of with your limited time on earth? Pretend your mum is watching...
Then - you do not have to worry about exposure and your colleague's don't have to worry that you are in a position to be easily bribed.
It may surprise you to know that such a life is more fun than using all of your energy hiding and pretending to be someone you are not.

Max, you are a sorry excuse for a human being. Please resign & leave the motorsport world in one piece.

If the man is upset at his private life is spread all over the tabloids' why has he taken this legal action that rakes over the minute detail again? Is it the money, or he thinks he is as invincible in the wider world as he seems to be within the FIA?

Geno, don't talk rubbish. You are imposing your moral values on other people-just like all the main religions do. What goes on between consenting adults is their business. Your points are alled based on now knowing this information. If NotW had not violated his private life then your comments would be invalid. It's not a case of what you don't know won't hurt you - I'm not saying that. But by delving into his PRIVATE life they have made it PUBLIC. Most people have sex outside of marriage and in some countries that is illegal and punishable by lashings and/or jail. Yet, I'm sure you'd think it natural.
This is about the NotW right to drag peoples private life into the public domain.

its a shamble! who cares about what the man does in his private life. and more to the point any moral argument here it completely beside the point, as the issue is the simple pleasure and news-making by digging into people's privacy in order to increase reading ratings. whoever is there criticising should always think of themselves. I do not believe for a second that nobody has nothing to hide, something that would be uncomfortable to others....not that I believe in any religion but: throw the first stone him or her who has never sinned. let the man be. beside that he is pretty shafted now, poor sod. the News of the world should be shut down, it is nonsense anyway, a waste of precious paper.

You guys on here make me laugh. Judgemental idiots. Judge him on his job not what he does behind closed doors.
NotW does care about F1's integrity or anyitnhg else - they saw an opportunity to make money from causing a family misery. Whether MM visits escorts is between himself, his conscience and his family. It's not the NotW right to broadcast private and personal informatino to the nation, no matter who that person in question might be.
Whether his actions repulse you or not are not of concern here. This case is about the right of the gutter press to divulge such details. How would you like it if personl details about you were broadcast to the nation?

GIYMHH You also chose to impose your moral values - for instance your statement "What goes on between consenting adults is their business" is not shared by everyone (Armin Meiwes anyone?). In addition you have presented your argument in a judgemental way, which is ironic.
But...I guess the legal debate will turn on whether there was nazi connotations in his games. If there was I can't see how Max will be able to say there is no public interest in this story. Max is an ex Union Movement candidate(a neo fascist party), so the public would be probably be judged to have a legitimate interest in whether Max still gets excited by naziism.
Get off your moral high h (GOYMHH)- You are right, what he does in his private life is his business, but that its impacting his functioning as chief of organization, and people in the business are avoiding his contact effectively proves that One holding responsible positions should "ACT Responsibly" And to judge him solely on how good he has been doing his job - Barring HANS device and driver saftey, all other of his "cost cutting" measures have ended up teams spending more money. He claims to protect interest of smaller team. But only "big teams" have resources to respond to constant "Max Rule" changes. After all those changes, we still have to put up with incosistencies every race day :(
The only reason its impacting his job is because NotW invaded his private life. I'm not arguing now that he should not resign. His position is untenable because of the NotW infringed on his right to a personal life.
As for his fascist background, it wasn't an issue prior to this scandal.
TG2T - you are stating he was no good at his job. Fair enough on that basis call for his head, not because of his personal antics.
Simon, if you seriously think that consenting adults should not be allowed to do things together that do not harm anyone else then you are a fool. The act MM was involved in did not harm anyone. But the NotW actions caused all the harm in their search of a story.
