Whre to start? Lets get the humour out of the way first - I bet they frisk Ron on his way out of the meeting!
Now the serious stuff. MM is pulling the same stunt again, short deadlines, in-or-out you choose. The whole 'rules proposals' is a bluff, and I think the Principles know it, as once they've entered, MM can just turn around and decide they are 'unworkable' and do what he wants anyway. I hope the principles will present a unified 'thanks but no thanks' response and see what Max does with an F1 that has no contestants. Bernie would strangle him, if he could reach.

May be the other team rep's will be going along to impress on Ferrari that in future the racing rules must also be applied to Ferrari and their drivers as well as everyone else They'll probably even gift them reading lessons and a copy of the rules in Italian so they can read them for once and setup lessons for the Ferrari boys at the FIA as well. Max the Perv could probably play the school master roll and get his cane out Max is guilty no matter what the court says

Dear Max
When holding a gun to someone's head ... make sure: A) You're prepared to pull the trigger & deal with the consequences B) You have the ammo in the gun to actually make it scary
At a time when teams are already mumbling about a breakaway series, don't give them ultimatums & more reasons to turn it into a reality. If you want to be a bully, you need to be the biggest kid in the playground ... & clearly F1's manufacturers & team owners have plenty more muscle than the FIA & certainly more than Pervert Max.

HAHA What a surprise Ferrari will have to bribe everyone to play by their rules. One of them will probably be, anyone who beats us will get a penalty to have that place taken from them.

Was it just me, or the "car infront" (and not the Toyota) is limited so the car behind is faster than it as...everyone goes around in a big group all afternoon then the Force Indias/Honda's go hurtling past the field :P
It's kind of comical and hypocritical of the FIA to cap the budgets, whilst at the same time ask the teams to develop new technologies which can filter down to road cars.
Development and testing alone for the KERS is only achievable because the teams are nearly all owned by car manufacturers who can bear the costs outside of their F1 teams.
F1 has always been about the best of the best and innovation. Why dont the FIA simply make F1 like all the other series and simply have one chassis, engine etc etc? They're half way there to ruining F1 this way as it is.

Its good to see Mclaren and Ferrari putting the past behind them. Whilst we all know it went deep into the core of each team, it was all started by a few disgruntled employees and those actions don't reflect the nature of both teams.
Hopefully now they are united against Max they will be able to work together towards a better Formula 1. The only problem is they know that they could change Formula 1 and do nothing to improve it, and people would still watch it. Theres too many die-hard fans to kill the series.

Agreed Adrian, F1 is a sport & the talking should be done on the tracks. The off-tracks politics can kill this sport. While I'm a McLaren fan, I would give Ferrari the benefit of a doubt that they are sincere in making things work for the sport, hence the discussion at their HQ next week. I think the teams really want things to work out well for everybody in the future. Perhaps, the time is ripe to get rid of both Max & Bernie.
