I know you can't read anything firm into practice times but it seems Vettel and STR are on song and he has the hunger for seeing his name on the top of the time sheets. He is maturing nicely as a fully fledged F1 racer what with his performance at Germany and now topping the times twice this week he's heading in the right direction. Initially I was thinking he needs one more year at STR to hoan his craft but maybe he is ready for the step up to RBR. Keep it up little Shumi! Posted by F1Tos (131 days ago)

Vettel is the real deal alright. Mix that with slicks and less aero next year, and we would see some real upsets in races. I wouldn't be surprised to see the best of the new breed - Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg and Kubica really battling for the WDC next year.
