The judge presiding over Max Mosley's High Court case against the News of the World has ruled in favour of the FIA president, but has stated that the 68-year-old has to accept some responsibility for what happened.
What a pity? He wins everything but hurts sport!...

There'll be no stopping him now. Presumably the judge in the case likes a bot of swish himself - I understand its quite common amongst that set.
Expect an appeal by the NotW, they'll now be into extra digging mode to see what else they can dig up on Max. They hate to lose, and will be especially annoyed in this case as the evidence was strongly in their favour, and their only problem was their main witness got nobbled.

i'm not in the least suprised,it just goes to show if you've got money you can get away with anything in this country. it also shows the laws in the uk are a joke, you can have a 5 hour orgy in the uk admit to paying for 5 prostitutes and get paid 60,000 pounds for it. and here was i thinking prostitution was against the law in the uk.
the next time he as one of these sessions he wants to invite oj simpson and michael jackson round to join him then invite the sunday tabloids to film it then pay for it.

He should be a happy man that he won for his privacy and now he can have as much ball as he wants. I pity his family. It also shows that though he won for privacy, he does accept he is a .....

to "not surprised", he wasnt paid £60000 for having it off with 5 prostitutes, he was paid because there was an invasion of his privacy by the gutter press. ok, what he was doing was sordid, but he was entitled to privacy. he was doing it behind closed doors. but the question remains, WHO set him up? we'll never know, i guess
I changed my mind about this case when it became obvious there was no Nazi element. Also the women involved are not really prostitutes, they are dominatrices.
Max, what a 'GREAT ROLE MODEL' you are to people all over the world!

to rich ard
if he hadn't have had it off with the 5 prostitutes as you put it.he wouldn't now be 60'000 pounds richer so i still say he got the money for having a 5 hour orgy and the news of the world picked up the bill.
if he is an honourable man like he wants to portray he his,he should give all the money he gets from this case to a charity or charities decided by michael schumacher.
but i bet he'll use it to have a spanking party for himself and his mates, and we'll have to endure seeing the smug piece of **** parading up and down the pitlane at the rest of this years grand prix's

Prostitution is illegal in the UK.
Mosely's offence took place in the UK with 5 Prostitutes.
He therefore has broken the law 5 times and should pay, not be paid!

he behaves like a dirty old git,he offends half the planet,he destroyes his family and then he gets rewarded...wtf. eff off max.
to "not surprised" if you read mosleys full statement, you will see that the damages are being given to the FIA safety fund, so he must be, "honourable", and he is not £60000 richer. but whilst saying that, i would imagine that, as a lawyer, a fair whack of the £1m costs will probably go into his pocket.

if the notw had paid the correct amount of money for the story as originally agree upon then maybe just maybe there chief witness would have appeared in court

Well done Max. Not all of us agree with everything he has done in motor sport but he has done something really worthwhile by nailing the News of the World who systematically ruin people's lives just to sell a few papers.
