Honda: New rear suspension will aid us.

The Honda Racing F1 team enjoyed a 'successful' test at the Jerez circuit in southern Spain this week, according to the squad's head of race and test engineering, Steve Clark.

As a honda fan for a very long time including Jenson the last couple of years have been very frustrating.Wekeep hearing the upragrades are going to make the car better but what do we see come raceday nothing if something dosn't happen soon were be at the back not second from the rear as we are now.We keep hearing we have the best crew and one of the biggest budgets so whats going wrong even torro rosso formally Minardi are wiping the floor with us.Come on Honda are alegences are slowly running thin.

Honda could be doing well, but then again so should Toyota. Atleast with Toyota they seem to of partially realised some of the issues, and are busy trying to dig themselves out of the mess. It was a good move for them to remove the overly paid waste of space which was Ralf. Honda are wasting a fortune on Button, think I read recently he was the third highest paid driver in F1 which lets face it is utterly insane. Cut the waste, and get it on the car.

Toyota are just stuck in midfield and have been so ever since their first season. Not really any signs of promise there either, just a flat inprovement curve. You know what to expect. Honda, on the other hand, are on a steep downward spiral... It really is difficult to be optimistic. Where will these fantastic upgrades take them? Q2?

Allan, Jenson is not money wasted, hes a fantastic driver. Look back at 2004 - if he had been in the Ferrari then he would have been right on Schumachers exhaust all season.

Just think back, had Briatore kept Button instead of Trulli in 2003 then we might have a different 2x World Champion. I think Flabbio realised back in 2003 that Alonso wouldnt like strong competition.

i agree adrian jenson is a good driver but it is time he started to wring something out of the piece of scrap he is dragging around the track. To be honest he is a mosley puppet and he will do what ever max asks he is one of only two team principles that get on with the M&S man (thats a bit funny M&S lol, sorry to you M&S i meant M&M)renault are a dead loss and that is why alonso will not be there next year and ill take money on it. If piquet had not come second they would not even be thinking od fourth in ther championship sixth is more like it.

barry, for once i agree with you (almost). button was motivated by greed and opted to go for the money rather than the glory, so i dont feel sorry for him. personally i dont think that he was anything other than a good midfield driver and would have been unlikely to become WDC. his chances are now gone and his poor performances have lowered his value in the market. he has lost motivation and the new, younger drivers (ex piquet) are more likely to succeed and progress.
