Lewis Hamilton maintains that he was confident of being able to attack Felipe Massa before the end of the Hungarian Grand Prix today had it not been for his mid-race puncture – despite the fact that the Brazilian displayed superior pace throughout.
I never saw him in the race be treath for Felipihno. He's a fool and full of crap.
Feel so sad for Feliphino. But Happy for Heikki. He deserve since be a number 2 in a team focus on this Idiot has to be not good.

Lewis wrecks tires, I don't believe that was a puncture today. Lewis has a serious weakness when it comes to tyres, it will happen again this season, maybee not a puncture but the usual lack of race pace that was evident today. It could well cost him and Mclaren the titles, as pole position is worthless if the Ferrari's are faster over a race distance. I wonder how long it will be until he says he is better than Micheal Shumacher and Ayrton Senna?

If you read the full story rather than just the bits that support your prejudices then a completely different story emerges. However, when have facts ever made any difference to the Hamilton haters?

Thats what crashnet wants, thats why they do the one liners for their headlines. They know a lot of people don't like hamilton for what ever reasons,as you can see from the rest of the stories on the site, they don't get as much attention as an hamilton article.I come on the website for that reason so i get a laugh at these idiots that reads the headline before they read the article.

But Lewis WAS catching Felipe until 2 laps before his tyre deflated. The 1.4 seconds Felipe pulled out on Lewis could have been due to the onset of Hamilton's tyre woes, but who knows?
I cheered when Massa's engine went pop (I don't like Ferrari), but instantly felt sorry for him because he deserved the win, no doubt.
The way Hamilton came away in a positive position after a poor result reminded me of Kimi after Silverstone, although Kimi's was his own doing!

After Massa got past Shamilton, never once was he all over the back of the Ferrari until the puncture, obviously both drivers went for broke with Massa's engine turned up to the max and Shamilton drove his tyres over the edge trying to keep up with the Ferrari. If this is Shamilton at his best then it's not good enough as we see even when Ferrari's at rock bottom in race trim the Mclaren still struggles to keep up even when car and driver are on top of their game, roll on the rest of the season and also expect the real Raikkonen to return just like 2nd half of last year, Kimi might not be the driver he was in the mid 2000's but when he hook up that car he can still retain the title.
Hamilton is getting more like the little mongrel dog next door yap, yap yap... can't ignore him 'cos he's always there, can't shut the bast.rd up either!! It wears a bit thin after a while...

Massa's pass on the outside was a meisterstuck. lulu was defending the inside, and got his car sideways at the apex looking for the grip. I'm really happy for his 40 year old teammate who finally got his first win.

Old Ron was right for once the other week - "Armchair experts who don't know much" - looks like they all post on crash.net!! Bridgestone won't state what happened to the tyre, yet u lot know??!! Massa's engine was 'turned up' - yeah good one, how do you know that??!! All guessing eh? As long as you are all entertaining yourselves......*****aleaf an appropriate name?!!!

There is a quote on f1-live.com from LH, he says that he probably lost last years championship because of punctures!!!! The arrogance of this guy is hitting new heights every time he opens his mouth. He is a good driver (not one of the greats yet!!) but he has a short memory, last year he lost the championship in Chin a when parked in the gravel in the pit lane. yes it was tyre issue but he should and could have changed it earlier, tyre issues are common place with LH, true champions and greats look after the tyres and think before they speak, LH just shut up and drive and you my get more respect!!!! Still think Massa will take it this ye****

How about the arrogance of the Hamilton-hating losers, who have never done anything in the limelight and speak like experts? Will you guys promise a winter of silence (and/or respect) when Lewis wins the Championship? I will be silent for 2 months if he fails to win this year AND respect the champion, whomever it may be. Deal?

I really get tired of seeing all the Hamilton haters come from out of their caves everytime Lewis doesn't win. The last race he won and there was complaining that his team made the wrong choice by not letting him pit. I am just waiting for the day when I can come on a forum and see people actually not having negative biased comments. So to all you middle aged, fat, lazy-boy recliner dwelling, Formula 1 analysts open your minds before you click the "Submit Comment" button below.
He can't be happy for Heikki? He had to divert attention to himself by saying he could have caught Massa, Come on, he may have caught Massa, but the tyre would have deflated anyway, because he can't be bothered to take care of his tyres. It's statements like these that doesn't endear him to F1 fans, especially non-British fans not clouded by nationalistic sentiment

Fact is we'll never know if he could have leapfrogged Massa because we don't know how much more fuel he had. It might have been possible if he could have gone four laps more than FM, but my guess is it was just two or three and he wouldn't have got him. I do agree that Hamilton could do with being a bit more modest and should have kept quiet, but some of the posters in this thread seem to have very short memories. Or else maybe they didn't notice the British and German GPs? How hopeless and incompetent was that?
