Alonso wins Singapore GP.

Sort Comments:

Alonso wins Singapore GP.

Formula One got its second surprise winner in as many races as an early safety car period - and resulting pit-stop incidents - three Fernando Alonso a reward for his persistence at Renault this season.

What an uninspiring race. No more street races, except for Monaco, and no more night races. Mind-numbing is all I can say after watching this CF.

It was a surprize that result and a good one!
Good one Fernando!
It's a good day for motorsport, Fernando alonso wins and that makes 7 different drivers win races this season and also 5 different constructors win races this season! Also i am very happy that Valentino rossi won his 6th Motogp world title today!

Good to see a new winner this season, Alonso had been fast all weekend and should have been further up the grid, so in a way he got his rewards for doing something out of the ordinary, but isn't it strange how it all unfolded after his team mate binned it. Good to see Rosberg second, and Ferrari got there Karma, notice they used the lollipop man at the end. Its there for Hamilton now, but hey the result hasn't been declared yet, Alonso could still get a penalty for cutting a chicane.

The Ferrari traffic lights have just lost the team team the championship plus all you Ferrari haters can reast as the stewards DID give them a penalty!! Well done Fernando, go to Ferrari soon...PLEASE!!!!!

Well done Fernando, after wht happened to you yesterday, you deserve it. I once said he'd never win another race after leaving McLaren last season, and I'm happy to be proved wrong.

What on earth were Ferrari thinking of? That's twice this year that they've released a car dangerously AND buggered up leaving while the fuel nozzle's still connected. Must say I cheered when it was obvious it'd mucked Feerari's race up, but felt sorry again for Massa, this is not the way to lose a championship.

Fantastic drive from Rosberg, especially before being given the 10 second penalty.

I felt Hamilton was just trying to keep his nose clean by not risking an accident.

But Go on Green the thing that's annoying is the consistantcy (or lack of) from race to race. Almost identical curcumstances, 2 different penalties

Amazing drive by Fernando. Well deserved. Also great drives by Nico and Jarno. This was at the least more exciting than Valencia.

Fair enough the pit stop wasn't his fault, and I hope those mechanics are all ok, but Massa's performance reminded me of Silverstone afterwards! Hardly championship winning material.

Thanks Ferrari, you really cheered up my day!! Kimi binning it at the end was the icing on the cake!!!

Yet again we have inconsistency from the stewards though :-(

Well done Fernando and Ni****

To the crash.net moderators:

Can you please ban this idiot, lulu the chicane master off this forum as all they do is post derisory comments about people who post on here. I know they'll probably come back as some other unfunny name, but please, this is a site about motor racing, not an site for childish insult throwing!

FIA== Fuelrig Is Attached . What a shame, karma strikes again. Ferrari are appealing the fact that they couldn't leave the pit lane with 8' of piping trailing from the car. Thay will be awarded the race victory in approx 3 hrs and Hamilton will be docked all his points because the Maclaren mechanics were heard laughing at Massa's incident. Apart from this the race was a total procession with 1 passing area.
