Can anyone explain how you can leave your pitstop too early, injure a team member, spray fuel over your team, drive the length of the pitlane towing a heavy fuel hose and get just a straight drive though penalty. But for Rosberg ang Kubica they simply had to pit because that was their strategy and would have run out of fuel otherwise and yet they get a drive through with a 10 second stop! Surely the Massa stop should incur a bigger penalty? As a final question, why did todays trewards feel a penalty was needed for the Ferrari being sent out in front of Sutil when at Valencia for an identical error they chose not to give a penalty? Please explain someone..sensibly without any bias!!!

very unlucky race for Kubica...

Is anyone up to date with current F1 rules and could lighten me up abit.. just wonder if he could take 10 second penalty before it was officially announced.. he was stuck behind force india for quite long time while waiting for his penalty.. if he would come into pits just after race restart he would be last anyway but at least he would have clear road in front and could push like Rosberg.

Well said Tim Burr.

ITV noticed also, this fact that MASSA caused the most danger, but got of with the lightest penalty.

Then again, last time Ferrari did this - they got ZERO penalty.

Either way, Ferrari where a laughing stock again on national TV, which is always a good think.

Nothing better than watching the corrupt get a Karma payback once in a while.

Kimi is an embarassment to Ferrari, as much as I dislike team FIA - Michael Schumacher was a brilliant driver for Ferrari, and would never make the howlers Kimi makes.

I agree. Nico really did not receive a penalty. It cost him nothing. Look at Kubica and what it cost him. Also Alonso put all 4 tires off in the chicane. I think there will be additional penalties.

FM's drive through penalty is possibly just a white-wash & PR exercise by the FIA just to show that they are not biased towards Ferrari.

Team mistake from Ferrari - The light turned green and Massa went. Which he's supposed to do. And he couldn't stop at another team's pit or in the middle of pit road so he had to cruise down to the exit to stop. Massa did nothing wrong, but FERRARI screwed up BIGTIME.

I don't believe MASSA did anything wrong FERRARI screwed-up big time, up until that point MASSA just switched-off the lights of SINGAPORE on LH and if it wasn't for N.P accident K.R would have embarrassed L.H, FERRARI had by far the best car, there is 3 races left and if the cars and drivers fighting for the championship do not change only luck will win it for L.H

Interesting how the stewards punish Massa when he is running last and out of the points, but he gets off scot-free when he's in the lead...

Thats a bunch of what if's Sunny.. You left out that Massa turned the car into the wall to bring out the last yellow. Had he not turned the car and then attempt to get back on the racing line then Force India would have never wrecked. Massa should for sure get a penalty for causing that last yellow. Then of co**** wrecking someone on the track is a little better than dragging the team down pit road. Get off your rose colored glasses Stivala and be objective. So Massa took the fastest car right to the back. Great driving from both the bonehead Ferrari drivers. Ferrari may have the fastest cars but they have two bogus drivers at the moment.

Surely in the light of several (over the last couple of races)drivers driving off with the fuel rigs still attached it makes sense for the drivers to get out of the cars and unlock to fuel caps. Then they would have to lock them before they get back in. I have to do this everytime I go to the petrol station and I never drive off with the fuel filler hose still in my car.

I wrote only one [IF]and not a bunch, yes FERRARI have by far the fastest car and no they do not have drivers that say they are the best so they are not disliked as THE number one at MCLAREN is and not ****suckers as the number two is,you seems to notice my rose colored glasses but sure missed the beam in your eyes, yes FERRARI screwed up big time to day otherwise you would not have came out of your PIGSTY
