Jean Todt could be poised to replace another former Ferrari F1 team boss in high office at the FIA if rumours at the Japanese Grand Prix are to be believed.
Yep so that'll be another 5+ years of Ferrari championships, great I'm looking forward to the battle for 3rd... FIA IS A JOKE!!!!!

TC - Other teams had choice to select other FOTA boss didn't they??
All- Knowing the acrimonious relationship between LucaDM and Todt, and given the circumstances under which Todt and Brawn were dumped, Stephney Framed and Italians given rise in the Ferrari organization . Todt has lots of Pent up anger inside him. If he starts demonstrating anti-Ferrari colors, would you still want him to be "neutral and unbiased"? I am not Ferrari Fan, but kind of Fanatism McLaren/Lewis Fans show on this forum, I have lost sympathy for the other party, its just matter of convinience,if decision suit you guys you will let FIA antics Slide by I am sure..

Oh-hoh they obviously decided the Ferrari International Assistance needed a bit more help.
The calculations suggested that there was only a 99.4% chance all the FIA's decisions would go their way next year so they needed some extra red in the FIA box just to be certain.

Where are the Fan-Antic - You assume incorrectly that I am a fanatic Mclaren Hamilton fan. I am not a tribal supporter but follow the whole sport with equal interest, but am getting disillusioned with the way it is going. Remember when Renault/Alonso were fighting for the title, suddenly Michelin tyres that had been used for several seasons became illegal and were banned, then next season an internal damper mechanism that was on the car when it won the previous championship miraculously became a movable aerodynamic device and was banned mid season. However Ferrari fit aerodynamic wheel covers on moving suspension and some years ago illegal bargeboards and the rules are changed to suit.

Ah wonderful! Jean Toot being groomed to replace Spanker!

TC - you got the facts wrong, Michelin Tyre issue came up with Montoya and Kimi were fighting for championship against Schumacher in 2003 Damper controversy was 2006, when Renault was using Mass Damper system for better part of 3 yrs. Having said that, the fact doesn't change, the "Fan antics" remain quiet if the steward inconsistency helped "Their Man" and come out blasting FIA if they "percieve" that "their man was at receiving end". Again the fact remains, Team bosses could have selected person other than LucaDM for FOTA boss. these are the same guys who killed GPMA for conflicting interest and gave Bernie/Max to harass them. So they get what they deserve.

I'm sure this new addition will help, as if the FIA are not biased enough in Ferraris favour.

Where are the Fan-Antics - Yes my memory is playing me up, the tyre issue is as you say. I am astounded that the teams voted that way, but do you get a free vote in a dictatorship. Still the point is they are still both Ferrari employees despite their internal power politics. And the rules seem to be applied on whims and with bias. Remember Ferrari trying to buy theirselves an exclusive supply of aluminium/berilium to prevent Mclarens use of it, when they failed the FIA then banned it, Ferrari fit flexi wings and moving under trays and the rules are carefully adjusted so as not to disrupt them too much. And so it goes on and on. Ross Brawn left by his own choice as far as I can see

SO HE IS OFF TO JOIN THE REST THE CHEATING BIAS FERRARI FIA JERKS. F1 IS FINISHED
BREAKING NEWS!!!! The FIA are to move their HQ from Paris to Modena to accomadate the arrival of JT into the FIA fold, and to comply with the wishes of the FIA's ruling body & head LDM

well well well...now everything to do with f1 will be painted red.
It doesn't matter what Todt does if he is the racing section of the FIA. He will not have the trust and confidence of the non-Ferrari teams and will be less effective because of that. The people put in these positions need to be above suspicion of partiality or the sort of season this one has become will be the way of the future. God help F1 if that happens.
