I nearly didn't bother to get up and watch what I guessed would be yet another committee decided result - and sadly I was right. Yet again we have a race result that has no bearing on where the drivers would have finished on the track - if left alone to get on with it themselves.
The sport is no longer interesting and the outcome of each Grand Prix relies on the quality of the Stewards at the track. Today was simply rediculous - and now to hand Massa an additional point through demoting Bordais 25secs - simply beggars belief! What about the Massa move on Webber - great bravery and "skill" - but driving into the pit exit flat out - if anything today was dangerous it was that!.........

i don't know why the barstewards don't just penalise everybody who finished in front of massa for just being in the way after all thats what they'd like to do wouldn't they.

When Senna drove like this - nothing happened.
Senna boasted he would push prost off going into the first corner if prost is infront - prost is infront, senna pushes him off. No penalty.
People seem to have forgotten this and about 3 million incidences of Senna's driving.
When Hamilton does the same thing, says he will not give in - he is slated.

I have to agree with 'rus the bus' about massa's pass on webber. If anyone was coming out of the pit lane at that time he would have wiped them out for sure. But we all know that maneover will go unnoticed.

bourdais should have pulled to a stop, first rule of F1 if the red car is behind let it pass,if the team behind supplies your engine let them pass, what a load of rubbish, bourdais should have trashed the cheating bstard red car...

Seem to me strange how the guy who causes the accident can be allowed to come off better than the victim, Hamilton at the back of the field Massa still up front! It really does look like the F in FIA stands for Ferrari!
Changing the subject from all the repeatative FIA negativity, what a drive from Alonso, he is the most complete package in the world of F1 did anyone else notice the 1:19:2's for about 5 laps in a row!! i havn't seen driving like it since the days of Schumacher, i would just love to see, Alonso and Renault fighting at the front and Vettel to take Raikkonens place in Ferrari, with a Schumacher comeback in a Ferrari, because i still think he'd be quicker than Raikkonen and Hamilton, for all those who said Schumi left Ferrari because of Raikkonens imminent arrival what did you have **** in your eyes or something? he would have wiped the floor with him last year and DEFINATELY this year..
First, Hamilton needs to calm down. the championship is his to lose, so yes he is a racer but a year from now we will only remember who was the champion, not wether he won every race.
On the other hand, what can i say, there definitely is support for Ferrari from the powers in F1. Bordais penalised! his pit should have told him to wait at the end of the pit lane and go only when the ferrari was passed. Thats how riduculous it is. I expected Massa to be penalised. What a joke.

F1 has gone crap nobody is allowed to race hard now days, as soon as any one does they are penalised, especially if they are not driving a Ferrari. How would senna, prost and Mansell get on to day. Proper wheel to wheel racers are not allowed in F1 now, time to give up on F1 and concentrate on proper racing motogp and Super Bikes.

How can Bordais be penalised when everyone said he had done nothing wrong? What was the explanation by the stewards? Brundle and Blundell seemed to suggest that Massa would possibly be penalised as he ran into Bordais from the side but as he had lost ground there would be no action.Bordais simply came out of the pits. I cant believe Bordais got done over for doing nothing wrong. Its an absolute disgrace. When is this crap going to end.
When Schumi came to a stop at Monaco in the last minute of qualifying, they should have left him alone. They ended up ruining what could have been a v. entertaining race, especially after Webber and Kimi R dropped out...in English common law, we say you are innocent until proven guilty: I imagine the Napoleanic code, in use in Monaco, is the same. This should apply in F1, esp including today's race...I wish B. Ecclestone et al would read this stuff...
Let me remind everyone here, what is the FIA stand for, The FIA is Ferrari 1 Association!
FIA will make sure that all other cars is penalise except the RED one!
Today is the SADNESS day in F1, we can see so many unjustice, shame, unfair thing happened. Person who made the mistake handed the drive thru penaty together with the victim? The idoit spin his car and other driver need to pay for it? The 1 who dangerously drive thru the exist of the pit is ok?
All this just with 1 goal, make sure Ferrari is #1 Shame... shame... Shame!
If the GOD is watching it, the working team sure will be dam n by then!

Another Ferrari benefit, Massa now gets elevated to 7th, firstly the incident with Hamilton, then he bangs Bourdais who had just legally existed Pit lane, and Bourdais gets penalised - hello!! then Massa dangerously squeezes past Webber down the main straight, over the white lines for at least 150m including the pit exit line and Massa doesn't get penalised - hello !! I used to be a Ferrari fan but this year the special treatment of Ferrari is unbelievable and unacceptable. Better you leave Ferrari Kimi they are not a sporting team.

First of all, the FIA gave Massa a questionable penalty for what was basically a racing incident, if they hadn't he would have been 3rd or 4th, while Hamilton would still have been last.
Secondly, Hamilton made a stupid and dangerous move at the start just because he saw the red car in front of him and his underperforming teammate right next to him because he himself messed up the start. He could have just taken 2nd or 3rd place, still before Massa, but he didn't.
And, since the FIA penalised Massa for the incident with Hamilton, they had no choice but to also penalise Bourdais for what was basically the same situation.

Surely if Hamilton was penalisedfor pushing Kimi off the road, then Kubica deserves one as well, not saying that anyone deserves a penalty for RACING but there needs to be consistency, right?
Posted by Stephen - Unregistered (51 days ago)
I just surprised that the stewards didn't penalise everybody infront of Massa to give him the win< as it seems to be an unwritten law by the FIA

ahhh yes, typical whieny brits unable to control their emotions, get over it, Hammy screwed up in front of the field, he deserved what he got, move on to your next set of excuses as to why he is blowing the WDC as you don't want to admit he is choking for the second year running
