Raikkonen: McLaren hit maybe cost me Fuji win.

Reigning Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen may have taken his first points in five races in finishing up on the podium in the Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji Speedway this weekend, but as he finally mathematically conceded his crown the Finn was left ruing what he argued could have been a victory.

even without the tap - there was no "hit" you wouldn't have won. you wouldn't have beaten Alonso, he had it in the bag all along and deserved it too.

Alonso won because of the incidents involving maclaren/ferrari at the start of the race. It is like the two dogs (maclaren/ferrari) fighting for the bone and the third (renault) picking it up and running away. There is no way alonso would have won if the maclarens did not mess things up in first corner. Hamilton is repeating his mistakes of last year- he is no wiser. His ego and 'win at all costs' attitude is sinking himself and maclaren. All he has/had to do was to take his car around the track, pick up a few points in this and the next races: and for sure he would be the champ. Hamilton must learn (the hard way) that the championship is won by points and not be winning any particular race

I do agree with you on the last sentence Mikeme.
Kubica is a good proof of that, he is still in the mix for WDC with only a single victory to his name.
If he manage to pull it out, would it had ever been seen a world champion with only one victory to his name in his entire career?

Hamilton was over enthusiatic at the start but i dont think he really caused that much disruption at the front i dont think the 2 ferraris needed to go off track that far either. the stewards have probly got sum ferrari legal guy standin next to them sayin did u c that! LH did screw up yes but he could hav salvaged sumthing out of it had it not had been for FM givin him the nudge. (after all LH did hav the speed 2 go past on flat spotted tyres) And anyway if massa had been closer to kimi he would hav had 2 move over anyway. racing has just turned into a political battle.
