Alonso: 'Anything' possible after Fuji win.

Alonso: 'Anything' possible after Fuji win.

A buoyant Fernando Alonso has claimed that there is no reason not to consider the Renault team as a contender for victory in each of the last two grands prix of the season.

FA did a good job no doubt. But he's only safe for now because his boss is a good friend of Bernie's & Max's. Wait till FA has to butt FM out of the way & then we'll see.

"Anything possible after Fuji" means Ferrari entry instead of Kimi?

well anything is possible where the FIA is involved! not penalising massa for cutting across the mouth of the pit exit when overtaking webber? was that not rather dangerous? , if a car was leaving there would have been an horrendous accident.

p.s. well done alonso!

Alonso, has gone on to say he will help Massa if he can to win. Shows he really wants that Ferrari seat. I wish Ferrari hadnt signed Kimmi till 2010 since Alonso clearly showed yesterday with the right car he would have already won this year's championship. Please LUCA and co. open your damn eyes.

Alonso showed yesterday that he is the most complete driver today! No mistakes, and still with a inferior car, managed to win. Alonso IS the best. I totally agree with Sid.

Alonso has said that he will help Massa.

I wonder what Renault will have to say about him moving over or costing the team a good result.

Sid,
When / where did Alonso say he would help Massa to win? Such a statement would surely result in a hefty fine.

Alonso can help Massa and not hurt Renault in the process, who said he'd take himself out? I don't think that there is much doubt that Alonso has a car good enough to win again.

Renault or Ferrari next year, no matter, Alonso will be Meister again. And those are the two choices. Even if Massa wins this year and Kimi retires so FA can come over, Ferrari is not so stupid to have two #1 drivers and Massa clearly knows Alonso is miles better than he is.

Alonso played it smart at the start yesterday, kept out of the scrum and beat his good mate Robert heads up, driving in a car just good enough and pulling it out rather handily with absolutely superior car control and strategy.
