Heidfeld: Hamilton not 'learnt his lesson'.

Heidfeld: Hamilton not 'learnt his lesson'.

Nick Heidfeld has questioned Lewis Hamilton's mental state and approach to the end of the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship, after a desperate late-braking lunge into the first corner of the Japanese Grand Prix at the weekend set off a chain of events that would ultimately see the Briton leave Fuji with no points in the bag.

Another no hoper with to much to say about other drivers!I would rather watch the antics of Hamilton "Win it or bin it" than the very boreing mr heidfield any day,if his driveing was as good as his mouth he might be up the sharp end with a few more points "OR" leading the championship like the guy he's mouthing off about

put Heidfeld (replace Kovalainen) and Hamilton on McLaren with the same treatment from team & Ron Denis.
1/3 ~ 1/2 drivers on the f1 grid have the same talent as Levis, let's face it. The McLaren car make the difference not the driver.

Didn't Hamilton score the same points as alonsa last year, when Alonsa clearly had number 1 status at the begining of the year, and this year Kovalainen is never anywhere near him, i seem to remember people suggesting last year that kovalainen would bet hamilton this year. So no i don't agree that if you put almost any other driver in the McLaren they'd beat hamilton. Hamilton just needs to learn when to go balls out and when to be conservative.

And those people that suggest Hamilton is getting number one treatment over kovalainen can't argue that this is the reason he's normally half a second off the pace of Hamilton at every race.

I would far rather watch a driver who "races"....
Rather than those who just like to drive a F1 car for the money...
I do feel that the FIAsco have to get their act together soon, or else, I can see the breakaway that was mooted a few years back.....Did MClaren lead this suggestion of a breakaway series?...

Again Hamilton lost his head. More and more collegues of his are critical of his driving. Hamilton keeps insisting he is doing nothing wrong. That arrogance will one day make sure somebody will definately intentionally run him off the track. As long as he thinks he is doing nothing wrong he will keep messing up a certain win like yesterday. He would have won that race easily had he kept his head cool and he would have the WC in the bag. His actions in turn 1 at the start were pure amateur stuff, nothing to do with "real racing"! Jean Alesi was a true racer and fun to watch but no accomplishment whatsoever. Hamilton is going down that same road if he doesn´t get his act together.

Just to explain I am "not" a fanboy or whatever I just like anybody who spices up what has become over the last years a totally boreing prosession called "F1".I have watched motor sport for over 40 years the rucks the fights and above all "passion" lewis might win the championship,he might not "but" his first two years in F1 have at least put some fire and passion back, look at the arguments and descussions on this board fire anger passion,if it was not for Hamilton you would have sod all to be passionate about, and be bored stiff,Wake up people like him or loath him he is good for "F1"

not really win it or bin it because alonso and schumi raced fine with out blow each otehrs title. its only a breath of fresh air to someone who never watched f1 before 07.

i dont want to knock the guy too much, but he needs to get his head down on the job at hand. massa has been weak really so lewis should have this wrapped up. just calm down at its yours

really nick should be looking at his own performance. but he has a point.

Played alot of sport myself over the years, and cannot imagine being way down the order and saying the guy winning is not doing it right.. bizarre...F1 has the weirdest set of 'personalities' I've ever come across, are they all misfits and social rejects...there appears to be no self respect or moral fiber... it's a kindergarten at best...

Nick's comments were calm - and, as far as I can see, correct. Why do people come out with posts along the lines of 'he's not as good as X. He can't comment on X'? If it's true that one is better than the other - so what? They're all better than you, anyway.

Nick's one of the best overtakers out there, by the way.

I believe he will learn, because if he doesn't he will end up in wikipedia page as "one of the most greatest F1 driver of all time without championship"

Great but not that great!

I agree with Mike 1. From the start I thought LH was what F1 has been waiting for and he is even p***ing me off. Got to be said that the boy does entertain even when he is making a balls of it. NH should keep his head down and mouth shut and thank his lucky stares every night as all he does is make up the numbers, he will never be a winner! (unless LH takes 15 out on the 1st corner then the bearded one just might make it as long as Vettel was not in the 15!!)

Squiggle - feel sorry for you. Logical arguments don't win with Fanatics.
F1 for them is for the lewis, by the lewis and of the lewis.
Rest are all props in the big hoax. If competitors win they are lucky, If competitors make good move, it was not good as one Hamilton made as a kid on the kart track. Its all about Lewis this and Lewis that on this forum. Adios
