Ferrari team leader, Michael Schumacher was in action at Mugello Wednesday, as the Scuderia continued testing at the Tuscan track for the second day running.

Ferrari team leader, Michael Schumacher was in action at Mugello Wednesday, as the Scuderia continued testing at the Tuscan track for the second day running.

Schumacher worked on set-up at the wheel of an F2005, completing a total of 85 laps - 14 on the short version of the track - with a best time of 1 minute 21.601 seconds.

Test driver Marc Gene meanwhile was also involved in proceedings and he drove an F2004, concentrating on tyre testing and completing a total of 96 laps - seven 'short' - the quickest a 1m 22.016s.

Ferrari continues Thursday at this circuit, when Luca Badoer and Gene will be on track. Schumacher has now departed for Hockenheim, where this weekend's race will take place on Sunday.
