Ferrari team leader, Michael Schumacher took over from test driver, Luca Badoer on Wednesday, as the Scuderia shifted to Paul Ricard in the South of France for their second day of testing.

Ferrari team leader, Michael Schumacher took over from test driver, Luca Badoer on Wednesday, as the Scuderia shifted to Paul Ricard in the South of France for their second day of testing.

Schumacher ran on the 2A-SC version of the French track, concentrating on an intensive Bridgestone tyre development programme in preparation for the final three races of the season in China, Japan and Brazil.

The German covered a total of 215 laps, the quickest a 1 minute 00.158 seconds.

The Scuderia now continues testing on Thursday: Schumacher on track at Le Castellet while number two driver, Felipe Massa will also be in action, however he will be running back at Fiorano.
