Much is being made of the latest controversy to strike Formula One, with Lewis Hamilton's twelve-point lead in the world championship under threat because of alleged reckless driving behind the safety car at Fuji last weekend.

But was the Briton guilty of anything serious? Certainly, he could be seen accelerating and braking heavily while heading the queue behind Bernd Maylander's Mercedes, but was he doing any more than anyone else in the same situation as he attempted to get his tyres and brakes up to temperature in tricky conditions?

Mark Webber, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso have all passed comment about the Briton's tactics, but what do you think?

Although footage has been routinely posted, removed and re-posted in an endless cycle on the original source, YouTube, it still appears in some sections of the Spanish online media.
