TAG-Porsches powered McLaren to two constructors' championships in 1984 and 1985 and helped Nikki Lauda to back-to-back drivers' championships in the same years. TAG-Porsche can also add the 1986 drivers' championship to its list of accolades after Alain Prost was gifted the title at the final race of the season when Nigel Mansell suffered a tyre blow out.
