“All I know is that I checked my mirrors and Nelson did not seem to be in a position to attack," Bourdais insisted, "Even though he was close to me, he was not close enough.

“I braked for turn ten quite late, started to turn into the corner and, all of a sudden, he was there alongside me as I turned. That was the end of the story. It's a shame as we had done a pretty good job this weekend up to that point.”
