Jones: Max's only crime was to get caught!

Friday, 9th May 2008

'He should be judged on the job that he's doing, not his out-of-work-time pleasures', straight-speaking Aussie insists.

“At the end of the day I honestly believe that what a person does in their private life – providing they're not breaking the law or hurting anybody – should be up to them,” the plain-talking Aussie stressed. “He should be judged on the job that he's doing, not his out-of-work-time pleasures.”

As to whether Mosley would survive the vote of confidence to be held on his future in the FIA Senate in Paris on 3 June, Jones was more circumspect.

“I really don't know,” the 61-year-old reflected. “That is a tricky one. I personally believe he will.”
