Q:
Sébastien, if I can start with you. Tell us about the progress you have made with the new car. You made the debut in Monaco and then we went to Canada, so finally you've had a test session. How has that manifested itself since then?
Sébastien Bourdais:
It is obviously always difficult to judge what happens on a Friday as you don't really know what people are running in terms of fuel loads and stuff. I think the test was quite interesting for us in Barcelona. We come back to a track which pretty much uses the same aero configuration, so yes there was the opportunity to start with something and not a blank page, so that was quite nice. This morning I don't really know what happened. On my side we were extremely unhappy with the balance and this afternoon was better, but still not quite sure that we get the understanding of the car. We knew that it was going to be a learning process. We have good references with the TR2B and it is great to know exactly what was working for me but now basically we have to start all over again and we just hope we can get it done on time to have a good result here.
Q:
Has your team mate gone in a different direction? Can you take his settings? Are you fairly similar?
SB:
Well, we had a different test programme this afternoon, so we will see what we can use from his side. But since we are in the press conference I cannot tell you much as I am not sure what they have done.
Q:
You are racing in front of your home crowd. You did Le Mans a couple of years ago, so it is not as if it has been a long time but what's it like to have the whole of the hopes of France on you?
SB:
Well, it is always nice to have 200 or 300 people in front of the garage on a Thursday. It is always a boost and it is really nice to feel supported. But in the meantime it is a normal weekend and you need to treat it as such and give your best as usual. You can't really change your approach because it is your home grand prix, otherwise it means you are leaving something on the table everywhere else. That is not the case but it is always nice to be at home.
Q:
Timo, fourth place in Canada. Has that changed very much for you?
Timo Glock:
It was nice at the end to get the first points, that is pretty clear. But at the end I didn't think it changed how I go into a weekend. It is maybe a bit easier but at the end it would be great to score in all races now a couple of points but that will be difficult. But Montreal was definitely a key weekend and quite positive for the team and for the people back in Cologne I think it was a good step.
Q:
When that happens is it a relief to have that result?
TG:
It is a little bit. In the past couple of years in Montreal I have returned the best weekends and it is a good place for me and it happened this year again. When I crossed the start/finish line it was just a good feeling.
Q:
Looking back on the first half of the season can you see the progress that you have made?
