Race of Champions organisers have confirmed that the event will return to Wembley again this December for a second successive year, with
Michael Schumacher amongst the first drivers confirmed in the line-up for the 2008 event.
The event moved from the Stade de France in Paris to the new London stadium last year, with DTM star Mattias Ekstrom securing the Race of Champions title and Schumacher partnering Toro Rosso

Sebastian Vettel to the Nations Cup crown.
Schumacher and Vettel will both return to defend their title on 14 December, with more top line drivers from a range of different categories of motor sport set to join them in the coming months.
"The great thing about The Race of Champions is that whether you win or lose it's a lot of fun – all the drivers really enjoy themselves and, because they're so close to the action, the crowd love it too," Schumacher said. "Whatever the result, I'm proud to support ICM, who are dedicated to research on brain and spinal cord disorders. I hope that I can help The Race of Champions' organisers raise awareness and funds for a very important cause."
Tickets for the 2008 event are now on sale with a range of discounts available compared to last year. Fans purchasing tickets before 31 July can save 20 per cent off an already reduced price, while there is a 50 per cent discount for children aged 15 and under which should guarantee a large crowd as event organisers IMP seek to build on a successful Wembley debut last year,
"British fans have a great passion for motorsport, and really embraced The Race of Champions when we brought the event to the UK for the first time last year," IMP president Fredrik Johnsson said. "We looked at proposals from several venues around the world but, as Wembley is such a unique and fantastic venue, plus the fact that we got extremely positive feedback from spectators last December, it was the best choice for 2008.
"Together with Wembley we've tried to improve ticketing this year. With a 50 per cent reduction for children and lowered prices in several ticket categories, the event is even better value for all, especially families. Another thing we've improved is that fans can now choose exactly where they want to sit from the moment they book."
