Force India accept 4.5million Euros to end customer car argument with Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Force India and Scuderia Toro Rosso have reportedly ended their high-profile spat over the use of customer cars following the collapse of Super Aguri.

The ongoing quarrel between the two outfits over STR's use of infrastructure and data from the sister Red Bull Racing team has lasted well over a year, but it is claimed the loss of Honda-backed Super Aguri has prompted a new attempt to bury the hatchet.

As such, Auto Motor und Sport are reporting that STR have agreed to part with 4.5million Euros, compensation that will go the way of the Indian team.

Team boss Colin Kolles, who had launched the arbitration against STR and Super Aguri when Force India were known as Spyker, had hoped to hold out for a figure in the region of 9million Euros, according to F1SA.

The compensation payment means the arbitration against STR, which had gone as far as a Swiss court, has now been dropped.
