Formula 1 » JYS: Mosley 'is not the person' to govern F1.

Thursday, 3rd July 2008

Meanwhile, Mosley – who controversially survived a vote of confidence on his future ability to control the sport, held in the FIA Senate in Paris early last month – is due next week to take on the News of the World in the High Court, seeking exemplary damages, according to The Times.

Exemplary damages are intended to punish or make an example of the offender, F1SA reports. They come into play when the wrong is deliberate or grossly negligent, and compensatory damages do not appear to be sufficient.
