When all of this is in place, when the team is working well and the car is as good as it can be it is worth nothing if the team’s drivers are not able to drive on the absolute limit. The team could produce the perfect car, but if the driver is not able to take advantage of that and squeeze everything out of that car, then it won’t work.
Oulton Park was a great start to the season for the F3 team, Maro did a fantastic job to take pole position and the win the race with little pre-season testing. The
Donington round was a little frustrating, but it was a great race for Niall Breen who impressed the team greatly with his performance and maturity in only his fourth F3 race.
We’ve had a couple of very successful test days since the last race at Donington which have been extremely useful. We’re feeling confident ahead of the next race at Bucharest, which will be a relative unknown for everyone.
