Di Grassi takes win at Thruxton.

Lucas di Grassi took victory in the first race of the day at Thruxton in the British Formula Three championship after leading from the first corner whilst James Rossiter and Adam Carroll battled behind.

Lucas di Grassi took victory in the first race of the day at Thruxton in the British Formula Three championship after leading from the first corner whilst James Rossiter and Adam Carroll battled behind.

Pole sitter James Rossiter lost the lead at the start and was soon emboiled in a battle for second place with a fast starting Adam Carroll from sixth on the grid.

Di Grassi made off whilst those behind him battled. Rossiter and Carroll are currently battling for runners up postition in the points, and their title challenges were handed the gift of a retiring Nelson Piquet on only the third lap.
