Driving for Team SWR Crypton in the National class of the British F3 International Series is Josh Fisher, who took victory in his series debut. We find out more ahead of the second round of the championship at the Belgian circuit of Spa...
Q:
You won the opening round at
Donington Park and you came second in race two. How happy were you with your weekend?
Josh Fisher:
I was very happy with the weekend, because it was a bit of a surprise to all of us. It was a good start to the Championship.
Q:
In 2004, you finished third overall in the Formula
BMW UK. What are the main differences between a Formula BMW and a Formula 3 car?
JF:
It is mainly aerodynamics and the breaking. The actual driving style is very similar. I heard a lot of talking before I drove a Formula 3 car for the first time, but it is true.
Q:
Have you ever raced here at Spa before?
JF:
No, I have actually never been to Belgium. I’m really looking forward to it.
Q:
What are your expectations for this weekend?
JF:
I am not expecting anything. I just want to get a good feeling for the car and do as well as I can.
Q:
You are a trained hairdresser, is that right?
JF:
Yes, I am. It’s a family business and I am involved with that.
