Hamilton completes Pau double.

Lewis Hamilton completed a clean sweep of honours in the second event of the 2005 F3 Euroseries by clinching a second straight win around the streets of Pau, this time heading an ASM 1-2 finish.

“I made a good start, but unfortunately there wasn’t a gap between Adrian and Lewis, and I had to focus on defending my third place," Duval revealed, "I think I was able to match Lewis’ pace, but overtaking is anything but easy in Pau. At the end of the day, I’m happy to have been able to secure two podium finishes this weekend, and score vital points for the championship.”

Behind Carbone, Franck Perera made up for his error in race one by taking a lonely sixth spot, with Lucas di Grassi and leading rookie Guillaume Moreau some seven seconds adrift at the flag. Esteban Guerrieri and Marco Bonanomi, two more drivers to have run into trouble on Saturday, rounded out the top ten.

There was bad news for the series' third Briton, Paul di Resta, however, as the Scot failed to complete the opening lap of the race in his Manor Motorsport Dallara.
