It’s great to play alongside some of the
F1 drivers and kind of measure yourself in a way in terms of fitness and see where you’re at. Quite a few of the F1 drivers are now good friends of mine through different relationships, some of them through these football games, and it is great to pick out a few things they do to try and get as close as possible to the top. Obviously these guys have done something right so if you can pick out the best things, you can try and develop as a driver in every aspect.
Once the football is done, it is back into the car for the Masters at Zandvoort and I think it is going to be a great event. I think every driver looks forward to it because of the tradition and because it is the biggest event in Europe for F3, held at a great track in front of a great crowd. You can measure yourself against the top guys from all over Europe and my personal aim is to get on the podium, and to look at winning a race. Saying that, there are a lot of quick guys out there and it won’t be easy, so we need to see where we are after the first practice session and that will give us an idea of what we can achieve.
