Sunday saw a large crowd of motor sport enthusiasts and the general public turn up to see the one and only roadshow for the British F3 International Series and British GT Championship which was held in Victory Park in Bath.
Local driver Josh Fisher, whose Team SWR National class Formula Three car was one of those on display, was more than happy to have his photo taken, answering questions about his Dallara car and the life of a racing driver.
"It was a very enjoyable event," he said afterwards. "It gave lots of people the chance to get close to the cars, and to take photos. All the people I spoke to want to come to Castle Combe and see them in action now."
Unfortunately, the Team Aero Morgan had to withdraw at the last minute, but the five cars on display - Charlie Kimball's Carlin Motorsport and Fisher's Team SWR F3 machines, two Mini Coopers and one Ginetta - drew plenty of attention, with a number of people buying tickets for the latest round of the F3 and GT championships this weekend and also signing up for information newsletters.
After the success of the road show, local circuit Castle Combe is likely to attract yet another large crowd this coming weekend, for the latest rounds of both championships on 25/26 June.
Another large crowd is expected to make the trip to Castle Combe this weekend with over 20,000 people ready to see the action.
