Having snared another podium finish last time out at
Silverstone, Hamad Al Fardan will hope to close on the top three drivers in the National Class standings as the British F3 International Series heads to
Thruxton this weekend for the latest rounds of the season.
The Performance Racing driver now lies just 20 points behind Michael Meadows in the standings as he prepares for his first outing at the quickest circuit on the calendar.
With eight podiums under his belt already, Al Fardan will aim to continue his recent impressive run of form as he seeks to break into the top three in the standings for the first time.
"We left Silverstone with more good results and considering the problems we had with the car all weekend two podium finishes was better than expected. The team is working really hard and although I have never raced at Thruxton before I think we are looking strong.
"Thruxton is the fastest circuit on the F3 calendar so I'm really excited about racing there. I will be aiming for more podiums this weekend and of course my first win! I know Perez and Cheng are out of reach in championship but I am determined to finish the season just behind them in third."
