Double R man secures popular breakthrough victory at Thruxton.

Over the closing laps, Jelley controlled things from the front to secure his long awaited victory while Kennard held of the challenge of Engel for second. Guerrieri took his best finish of the season and once again equalled the best result to date for the Ultimate Mygale. Fifth went to Valerio ahead of Mansell and Gonzalez – the Venezuelan having been docked one place after the race for a trip across the Chicane on the final lap. Devaney, Asmer and Perez rounded out the top ten, the National Class winner having fended off the challenge of Walter Grubmuller in the closing stages.

Behind Perez in the National Class, Hamad Al Fardan took second ahead of Mike Meadows with Cheng finishing down in fourth place.
