Marko Asmer and Sergio Perez celebrated in style in the 20th round of the British F3 International Series at
Croft as the newly crowned champions secured victory to complete their championship winning race days.
Asmer led the entire race after making another demon start, and wasn't to suffer from the engine problems that had forced him out of race one as he held off the challenge of Niall Breen in the early stages of the race before the Carlin man slipped back in the closing laps – eventually settling for second place. The podium was completed by Atte Mustonen while Alberto Valerio, Maro Engel and Greg Mansell rounded out the top six.
In the National Class, Perez took victory ahead of Frankie Cheng – who brought the curtain down on his season with a second podium of the day. Hamad Al Fardan took third and is now ahead of Michael Meadows in the points standings as a result.
