Although largely unaware of West-Tec as an F3 operation - the team only debuted in the category in 2007 - Legris was pleasantly surprised with what he found during his time with them in Spain.
"I only knew about Team West-Tec in stock car racing as they did ASCAR over here and, to be fair, I didn't know too much about them [as an F3 team]," he admitted, "But they seemed a really professional team and did a great job for me on the day, so I had no complaints."
With each side mutually impressed, Legris has added the burgeoning Spanish series to his list of options for 2008 - all of which remain dependent on finance of course.
"Financially, I think [Spain] is a great position," he confirmed, "I'd like to say that I could do the F3 Euroseries but, for the money and for the value, I think Spanish F3 is the place to be at the moment. Hopefully, if I can raise the budget, I'll be racing out there next year.
"There are no plans to test again at the moment as I'm still scrapping together my finances and, obviously, I'm not sure that I'm going to be doing Spanish F3. It may be that I have to settle for something like Formula Renault, but you never know.... I might be able to get the finances and begin testing as soon as possible."
