Hayle hopeful of signing top-line replacement for departed star.

"For me, I want a driver signed as soon as possible as then I can relax and know what I'm doing and the rest of the guys in the team can make a plan," he said. "The obvious ones are Hohenthal, Gonzalez, Kennard and possibly Guerrieri as none of them are sorted yet and all are possible candidates. It is just a case of seeing which one suits us best and which one thinks we suit them best. The sooner it can be done the better.

"It will be difficult when you have the likes of Carlin and Double R as competition, as they try to get what they consider to be their title back. We have it for the moment and want to hang on to it, but trying to replace Marko and repeat what he did will be difficult. But we have to try."
