“After winning the
McLaren Autosport award, I felt like Formula 3 was the right step forward,” he asserted. “We tried to raise the budget to race in the Championship Class, but having just two months to raise that kind of money is really hard so we had to settle for the National Class with Fluid Motorsport. I think that's the right choice, though, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
“I've settled into the team pretty quickly, and in the last four tests we've been consistently in the top three. We've just got to see what happens in qualifying this weekend; that should give us a good idea of where we're going to be.

“Justin is always there if I need his advice – that's a big benefit of having him there, with him in general just knowing what to do. He's already been through this part of his career, so we know what to expect with my career now.
“I've just really got to work hard now and try and find a budget for 2009. That's our main goal, so that we can go into the winter break with a deal sorted for the coming season. Even though it's early and we haven't even started the 2008 season yet, we're already looking towards that.”
